Awaiting to tender but have to wait for guest disembarking in Tahiti as their face to face immigration check is going slowly. Is that increase in population with or without a cruise ship?

Rare Haljo1935 Posted February 1 #79 Share Posted February 1 (edited) @rafinmd This version of the maps is easier for me to read, but know I will like them no matter the published version. I appreciate the time you are investing in them. Edited February 1 by Haljo1935 Typo 14

dfish Posted February 1 #81 Share Posted February 1 Greetings from the Koningsdam! Internet has been awful today. I finally got on CC about 2pm and read the first page of the Daily and it dropped off again. Kind of a lazy day today. Just what we needed! @bennybear my condolences on the loss of your friend. 15
Quartzsite Cruiser Posted February 1 #82 Share Posted February 1 Good afternoon. There was a problem with the internet for most of the day. I hope the fix holds. The seas have been rough today, and are getting rougher. The outside of the Promenade deck is closed. Last night, we had a good view of the windy sail away from the Tamarind. And they food was good as usual. Just a relaxing sea day today. The sail away. Lenda 19

Cruzin Terri Posted February 1 #87 Share Posted February 1 We had a lovely dinner in Toscana, the Italian restaurant. Afterwards, lost some money in the casino. Will see what happens in the future. Somehow this is not my favorite ship. I see Oceania making a lot of cost-cutting measures. Little things, but they add up. Here are some photos of our state room. A Penthouse suite. Tomorrow in the daylight I will take some of our verandah. Have a good night everyone, Terri 18

Sharon in AZ Posted February 1 #89 Share Posted February 1 Good evening from the Koningsdam! The internet has been horrible today and I even upgraded to premium. Our get together last night was wonderful. It’s taking forever to download pictures so I’ll do that tomorrow. It’s been rolling and bumpy today. Just went to the Captain’s welcome toast. Big turnout. This morning the turnout for the Hawaii talk was overflowing and standing room only so we left. Have a good evening! 14
Cruising-along Posted February 1 #90 Share Posted February 1 Greetings from the lovely Volendam! We’re in Townsville, Australia today. The morning didn’t start out very well. We were booked on a private tour with CC’rs to Magnetic Island and were looking forward to it very much. Unfortunately all the ship tours and independent passengers were in the same, single line to debark. It took forever and even though we left our cabin as soon as the announcement was made, it took too long and the tour left without us. I do think they left 10 minutes early, but that’s to be determined. I guess this is why some people congregate early even though we’re told not to. 😕 We ended up taking the free shuttle into town with @richwmn, did some shopping and then had lunch together back on the ship. It was nice to get back to the A/C, very hot and humid in town.

The Crown bar was packed when we were in Belfast so we gave it a miss and went back to our Hotel Fitzwilliam for a drink instead. I'm so sorry to hear one of your friends in your photo has passed and send my condolences to you and his family. Life is indeed short and health can deteriate very quickly so cruise and enjoy every minute. Graham. 6

I am realizing little things as we go along that I have to take charge of more and more things. I unpacked for both of us. He brought two pairs of gym shorts and one pair of dress shorts. Now we have to buy at least another pair of dress shorts for him. Arrrgh! I can’t tell you how many pairs he has at home. He must have brought 10 pairs of white sox. Not sure when he is going to wear them. Maybe we can go to the shop on the ship and exchange the sox for a pair of shorts???!!! Fat chance. This is all a learning curve for me. We managed to get an extra reservation at the Italian restaurant tonight. I will take some photos late. Right now. Jim is taking a nap. Thanks again for all your wonderful Bon Voyage wishes. God Bless, Terri Rabbit 🐇 Rabbit 🐇 White Rabbit 🐰. I hope you both have a fantastic cruise Terri. Pauline irons, picks and packs all of my clothes. I do all of the driving,320 miles from home to Southampton England. Edited February 1 by grapau27
