What is yours ?

I've done this in a couple of different threads before, but since it's been a couple of years, let's do it again:

  • Take a transpacific cruise
  • Visit Tahiti and French Polynesia
  • Visit New Zealand
  • Visit Australia
  • Circumnavigate Australia
  • Circumnavigate Africa

I plan to take a cruise to knock the first four off the list in a couple of weeks, so wish me luck!

confusing question.  What activity on  cruise ship is on your bucket list ? OR, what cruise is on your bucket list?  Mu cruise ship bucket list activity ( on board a cruise ship) is to win  Royal Flush playing video poker ( most I have won was $800.00).  My Cruise destination bucket list...Going around the tip of South America

The title says "activity".  I took that to mean things like Bingo, trivia, casino, shows, any other activities.

My interpretation is different.  I interpreted it to mean "anything that can be done ON a cruise ship or WITH a cruise ship as primary support".  To me, the getting there is the primary thing; I'll figure out some interesting things to do once I get there.  And maybe I'll decide I want to go back to do those things or other things, and maybe I'll put those on the bucket list, or maybe I'll just put another trip on the list.

I can't think of anything in particular that I haven't done on a cruise ship already that I'd want to do so badly that it would make my bucket list.  Probably the closest thing is seeing a couple of my favorite singers in concert and hanging around them for a little bit longer.  Mission accomplished, particularly on one of the music charters I had earlier this year.

You might recognize them, but probably not.  Who they are or aren't isn't really the point.  And even the fact that it was on a cruise ship isn't that important - except for compiling a response to this thread.

DW and I are professionals at doing little to no activities on a cruise.  Even on longer cruises of many weeks and more than a dozen sea days, our favorite "activity" is to settle into a comfy deck chair with our Kindles.  If there is a decent lecturer on the cruise (this is rare) we might go to the lectures.  Otherwise, we are content to watch others run to and fro while we specialize in doing nothing.

I too enjoy listening to live music in the lounges and also do a lot of reading.

I'll go along with those 2 activities plus playing trivia.

And if we get back on the NCL Prima again, ordering and eating the hot fudge sundae at the Local is definitely on my bucket list.

My real name is Mr.Trivia.People call me all hours of the night to ask me trivia questions that they cannot figure out the answer to.

EXACTLY!

I've been cruising for 50 yrs and haven't done a "ship's activity" in (at least) 40 yrs.  (Do excursions count?)  My Kindle, coffee & a chair in the shade where I can see the sea!  Love sea days!

For me, bucket list itinerary would be the next Royal Caribbean ultimate cruise.   For activity, (I know it’s no longer done), I’d love to shoot skeet.  Also, (I know this is not possible) with modern ships but I think I’d be cool if they could open a platform to go swimming in the middle of the ocean.

While I'm not sure whether I'd call it a 'bucket list' activity, the number one thing I'd like to see onboard a cruise I book is a lecturer (or preferably lecturers) who give talks that are based on the itinerary for the cruise. I don't want to hear about current state of US--Russia relations when I'm on a cruise in Asia....

Lecturers should be: 1) expert and up to date in their topic; 2) be able to speak compellingly; and 3) be willing to answer questions.
