Is it true  the woman was stabbed with a steak knife, choked, then thrown over the rail by her newly found onboard weightlifting paramour?

King

My very reliable source said she was choked and was thrown over the rail from deck 16, hit a lifeboat and landed on deck 7.
As to the reason or who did it, that was still being investigated when I was told this info.

As mentioned before untrue rumors are out there. This was an unfortunate suicide. Very heartbreaking.

The definition of rumours is - currently circulating stories or reports of uncertain or doubtful truth.   Untrue rumours would be an example of tautology.

Someone claimed it was a suicide.

There has been a heap of claims on here about what happened. Mostly uneducated guesses and it would be much better for people to wait for the facts rather than make it up as we go.

That's just one definition. Many rumors turn out to be the truth. A good example is a rumored pregnancy of a celebrity that eventually gets confirmed.

Isn't that the same as 2 double doors or 2 twins?

Exactly my point, the brochure said two twin beds.  Call the steward and say "I'm two down on the bed count"

Tonight a report said there may have been a man involved.

This type of report is 100% correct and typical of what news agencies  put out.  There might have been a man involved, is a sentence that revolves around the word "might" and as such implies that alternatively a man was not involved.  Most people will overlook that. Typical of journalism where each source wants to project that they have the most information.

That is THE definition.  It does not mean that anything rumoured is false.  It does not mean that anything rumoured is true.  If something is a rumour it is uncertain whether it is true or false. It can eventually prove out, one way or the other if a final answer comes out, as fact.  When this happens it is no longer a rumour.

This Daily Mail article is so full of incorrect information that it is nearly worthless.  The casino is not on deck 16.  The photo shows the starboard side of the ship and indicates the forward most life boat is #2.  That is wrong. The boats on the starboard side have odd numbers while the ones on the port side have even numbers.

I find most Daily Mail articles to be worthless.  They repeat the same information over and over again just to keep you scrolling past ads.  Annoying.

There appears to be a news "blackout" about this story.

What makes you feel this is a "blackout"?

Sometimes there just is no more to report.   People die daily under strange circumstances and lots of them never get reported on again.

Interesting update, thanks for posting.  At least they said the husband was interviewed but as a witness and is not a suspect.

How horrible for the family.  Whether it was a murder or suicide, it’s so very tragic.
