The only C&A level designated by color is Pinnacle, and that's only on Oasis and Quantum  ships.

Suites are designated by color

A Star Class Pinnacle may choose which color they want to use, Star or Pinnacle.

The Pinnacles I know choose to use Star Class Sea Pass cards. You’ll need to let us know what you choose to use on your Allure Star Class Cruise.

We were on Navigator last week and there was literally no security at the Diamond Lounge entrance. We were there every night. Anybody and everybody that wanted to wait for the door to open could sneak in. They were checking seapass card when ordering alcohol, though.

No checking or actually I should say have not witnessed any checking of sea pass cards  this week on Allure.

Not many D or D+ as related by the CD. Never seen the DL this empty!

Concierge is Claudine.
Excellent wait staff.

I only went into the Diamond Lounge once on my recent Mariner cruise.  It was empty.  Used my card to get in at the door and I could’ve brought as many people as I wanted.  Nobody would’ve been the wiser.

I can't see how a thousand d and d+ fit in the DL and the viking crown lounge outaide on explorer.

We had 1200 including the Pins on Mariner.

They used all of the VCL, Boleros,  and Schooner as a Diamond lounge

Are you referring to the DL overflow lounge in the Star lounge. The DL on the Navigator requires your key to open the door - small lounge. Dexter was sitting at his desk and greeted people who came in.  Don’t see how anyone could sneak in.  Sailed in March and Star was used as an overflow lounge and no one was checking cards, unless they were ordering exchanging drinks. People were using the Star overflow lounge who were not diamonds, but not the actual DL.

I'm sorry, I meant Adventure, don't know what I was thinking. No, this was not the overflow into the VCL. Yes, the Diamond Lounge required a valid Seapass card to get in but anybody could wait outside for the door to open and get in. If we weren't Diamond, we could have sneaked in every night and no one would have said anything. As I said, there was no security there. The DLC wasn't even in there half the time. This may be uncommon but that was our experience.

How old was your daughter when you reached Diamond?  When children turn 18, their status is inherited from their parents status.  So, if you were Diamond before she turned 18, she would be diamond, too.

According to the rule NO

do they really care, NO

Just don’t make it obvious lol

its like boarding time that’s is not really enforced.

Boarding time seriously isn't enforced. We're only platinum, two years ago in Barcelona we walked up into our designated line around 1030, boarding time wasn't really until 1130 for us; no one was in line, so they checked us on board right away. Two senior Diamond members, who were standing at the check in desk, were really upset that we were allowed to board before they were but it was because we were all sail pass ready and they weren't. I think the guy got even MORE upset when I started to laugh. I find this whole thread of comments entertaining and people are getting wired over other's comments. Looking forward to moving into Diamond status after our next two cruises. Free drinks, woohoo! But I don't think I'd be fretting this much over "non diamond members" getting access to the lounge or having one of the three drinks that their Diamond member partner has.

You might not be fretting now, but you wouldn’t be too happy if you couldn’t get in the DL because it was totally full.  You will have earned a right to use the lounge by spending a lot of money on cruises; shouldn’t expect to share with people who have not.

Remember RC can change the rules at any time. Diamond plus are no longer allowed in the Concierge lounge. I think it’s just a matter of time before DL is just for D+ and not diamonds.

When people cheat and break the rules everyone suffers.

I agree with you and current diamonds will suffer if RC decide to make the lounges into D+ lounges because of the misuse.

There are a lot less D+ so they could easily change the colour of D+ cards so they are easily recognised too when cards are checked to get into the Lounge.

Yeah, that would give me nightmares....1000 D and D+ stacked like cord wood in the lounge.  Not a pretty picture.

🤔D+ still allowed in CL.  Plenty of them on Serenade now.

Adventure SL has two entry doors plus entrance from the sports court. SLC really doesn't have much view of the second door.

Rhapsody tried to oust the D+ out of the concierge lounge when Alan moved to the DL earlier this year...but that did not go over well, so they were let back in.  I never had an issue using that lounge, though I preferred the more airy overflow in the DL for happy hour.  They were trying to unofficially change the CL to the SL..without warning, with no signage to state that.

I've seen it happen on top heavy cruises. The Mariner Odyssey was that way.

We dont even go to CL in the evening this trip,  Safari Club 🐘🦁🐯🦏 much more civilized

Agree...we love those aft lounges also.  That's why we prefer the DL on Rhapsody.

Will be on Mariner next month..will be interesting to see the changes.  Sister is on board also, and is Diamond...so we will stick to the Diamond lounge with her.  Just a JS on this trip.  I am guessing not going to be very busy in there with school out by then.

Agree. I've noticed that trend lately on CC that some waiting to become diamond think those of us that are diamond or higher that are voicing our concerns or dislikes about non diamonds sneaking into the DL or being brought in by another diamond or above are fretting over nothing. Unfortunately because of that the DLCs need to be verifying who is entering the DL. That process has been hit and miss by some of the DLCs on our cruises.

We were able to get in the CL (D+ AKA Royal DS :classic_wink:) on our March 2019 B2B cruise on the Freedom.  We preferred the DL over the CL on that ship.
