How were you able to set both yourself and your husband up on one phone?

At the very beginning when I started the process, I entered our Booking Number. Then it took me to a page with two circles at the top. One circle had my name and the other had my husband's name.  I did my setup first -- tapped on my name and went through the whole process -- and then tapped the circle with my husband's name on the home screen.

When both circles were green and had checkmarks, I went to the end where you can order bling, etc. (which I didn't). The last page said our Medallions would be shipped.

It could be because we're together on the same email account, I do both of us on the same Personalizer, etc.  (I heard that Princess is trying to force people to get separate email accounts for each passenger, but don't know if that's true.)

This is hilarious, We're sailing on the Regal Princess on Feb 2, 2020. I got our Medallions yesterday, when I looked at the ship name it say's Sky Princess, January 26, 2020. I double-checked the App & that indicates the Regal. LOL!

You might want to contact Princess about that... It would be a bummer if your cruise was actually messed up.

Web site & Cruise Personalizer are fine. But, I'll give them a call to verify.

You may want to try doing it starting in early March.  March 29 will be Grand's first MedallionClass sailing so the PAX on that sailing will need to get Ocean Ready at least 3 weeks before that sailing if they want their medallions shipped to them.

☺️ Thanks again! It's on my calendar now.

Is there a problem putting the medallions in carry on luggage?  I wonder if TSA will confiscate them

Why would they?  They don't confiscate other electronics.  If TSA took away Medallions at the airport I would think we would have seen posts about it.  Don't worry...be happy, enjoy your trip.

We recently flew from Miami to Barcelona on AA to cruise on the Sky Princess from Barcelona to Ft. Lauderdale.  I had our two medallions in my carry on bag.  No problem at all.  Enjoy your cruise!

I have searched and searched with no solid answers, so I truly apologize if this has been answered before.

We have 2 cabins on our upcoming cruise. My wife and our 3 kids will be split up. They are next door but not connecting. Can you request the medallions open both rooms? If not, can we get an extra key card for the other room?

When I left my medallion in the casino PSD asked if I wanted the other deactivated or just a door one. I chose the door one so I don't see why not

What is the preferred item to hold medallion? Clip or sports strap? Is clip secure?

If you're talking about the plastic clip that attaches to your belt or shirt I was talking to someone that bought one & they said they were terrible. The medallion kept popping out every time they jumped into the pool.

At one time they were giving them out for free when the medallions first came into service. I think we have at least 4 or them & never used any.

I have one, they're nice for formal night, or when you wear a "real" shirt, ie, dress shirt, not t-shirt. Otherwise they are terrible, I thought the concept was good, but, the execution was, well, no so good. I still bring it for formal night & when I wear a "real" shirt.

So traveling on the Ruby in May, checked on the Medallion Class app that I had previously downloaded on my phone and looked like they had started a go at the actual loading for Ruby Princess.  Now a few days later it's just a white screen stating "Weighing Anchor"?  Anyone know what that means?

I haven't seen this asked recently from my searching but will they mail the medallion to Canada yet or is it still picked up at the port?

We just did our OceanReady for a Caribbean Cruise on February 22nd and it was not an option. So doesn't look like it yet.

Picture question:

We have a cruise in a couple of weeks.  Our Medallions will be here in a couple of days.  One of the people in our party would like to change their photo from the one that is currently in the system.  Is that OK to do?  Or, do we need to wait until our next Medallion cruise to do so.

Pretty sure that it's all done on the app and stored centrally. The only data that would be on the medallion would be an identifier that the systems use to correlate the data, not any of the photos or specific data itself. So long as the app lets you change it I'm pretty sure you're free to do it at will.

The story continues, I just got an email indicating that our Medallions are on the way for our 2/2/20 cruise on the Regal. I have no idea why we got the one's for the Sky on 1/25/20. I never booked that cruise. It's not in my list of Upcoming Cruises. Wish I lived in Fort Lauderdale, I'd show up for grins and watch them panic. LOL!

You could tell them that you would accept a move over offer...

They told me at Princess about a year ago that it was "imminent" or "very soon".  That was a load of wishful thinking.  I don't understand it as they could send them to Canada as easily as they do to the USA from Singapore.

What I did last fall, was send them to our pre-cruise hotel in FLL.

Since they will only ship to USA, and not any other country, I wonder if it has to do with customs and duty taxes if they ship them out of the USA.  Tracking for my medallion shows the shipment originated in Doral, Florida, not Singapore.  Maybe OCEAN ships them in bulk  from Singapore to Doral and then they get distributed in the U.S. without the need to pay additional tariffs or duty.  Just a guess.  :classic_blink:
