My daughter had a graduation event after 5th grade but only a 'Stepping Up" ceremony at the end of Middle School. Nothing special and very disappointing so all of the parents got together and hosted a wonderful graduation party at a teen nightclub. They danced, filled up on soda, punch, cake, junk food, and sang "That's what friends are for" hugging each other in a circle, girls crying. Their baby and growing up pictures were flashed on a huge tv screen. Priceless. And to think they were only 13-14 and were together again in High School.

grapau27 Posted June 25, 2021 #20654 Share Posted June 25, 2021 50°F cold and rainy this morning. I have taken Pauline and her best friend to a retail outlet and left them there to catch up and buy things. I went to the bank and now I am sitting overlooking the sea ringing customers to arrange calls for Monday. I hope everyone has a nice day. Graham.

Two very different definitions popped. 1) Weak & Stupid 2) Stylin, cool, sexy. I'm sure he meant #2 😉 As for 24 Carrot (or as we say in the states 24-Karat), that means your "golden". That's so Baby Boomer! 😄 I didn't understand either one.

Just doing you a favour. 😉 Reminds me of the irritating way some folks say "I could care less", when in actuality it should be "I couldn't care less". So to me if someone says "I could care less"....at least I know they care a little bit anyway. 🤭 I know...who cares right? Or...you couldn't care less. 😄 3

Until then, hopefully a summer with some sports and some jobs around the farm. He has some formalities at school on Monday for half an hour but that’s it. Katy Perry on American Idol used that word often in that context. I guess they're running out of new words to create so they're recycling old ones.

Here we have: Six years elementary school (starting at 6 years age). Then 3 years of mid-high school. Finishing at 18 years with another 3 years of high school. Total -- 12 years. If you're exempt of compulsory army service (3 years for boys and 2 years for girls), you go to the College/University at 18.
