IE we don’t get more because of the extra days? posting This part separate since nobody responded earlier I am going to answer this based on my experience on the Serenade and Jewel (12 Nights). We sent in 3 bags at different intervals. Put D Plu s#. No charge. Room steward did ask if we wanted to send in one more before the end of the cruise. I asked how many are we allowed per D + member, she (on the Jewel) said send as many as you want. He (on the Serenade) said he thought 2, 1 per 6/7 nights. Same on the Anthem's 12 nighter when they used to have those. So different answers on different ships. And we have had sent in as many as 3 per sailing for the two of us. I do not know the current rules reg. how many bags per member. I don't even see it on the website list of "amenities" but also check on the welcome sheet they leave in your cabin. Perhaps they have mentioned something there. Edited May 3, 2022 by Arzeena

Same for Jim. Yes indeed, thank God for insurance!!! 9 hours ago, ownedbypets said: I was in the hospital, in 1994, on strict bedrest, pregnant with twins. Our daughters' birthday is in two more days, May 5th. I had natural childbirth, and out of the 3 doctors I saw during my pregnancy, not one of them realized I was carrying twins. The doctor, after delivering Melanie, yelled to the nurse, who was handling Melanie, get over here!!! There's another one!!! Judy was born transverse, presenting hands and feet together, with the cord around her neck. Rare Lionesss Posted May 3, 2022 #56366 Share Posted May 3, 2022 On 5/2/2022 at 10:59 AM, BonTexasNY said: On to happy things. @Lionesss Will your daughter and SIL have a gender reveal? I hope so, I do not think it has hit them yet of becoming parents in December. It will so much more fun down the road knowing the gender and besides, babysitting the grand pups these next few days are one thing but a grandchild, well (not going to cry yet). On a side note. When she was 11 she developed a very very bad case of acne, and with the care of a dermatologist and years of treatment she was able to save her complexion. They could not believe someone so young could develop such a severe case and she was often the brundt of jokes at school, which was hard on a 6th grader. Then she developed a case of hirtsutism (excessive hair growth) and as it started to cover her face and significant amounts on her arms and legs, she went to yet another specialist and was diagnosed with PCOS Poly cystic ovarian syndrome. And boy did that ruin her school days. But she persevered. She was placed on "the Pill" because the hormones were the treatment to resolve the hair growth. And it resolved . She had multiple scans over the years and the last one showed that her ovaries were severely encased in cysts and at that time they informed her that getting pregnant for her may not occur. Her doctors over the years slowly adjusted her "pill" doses because they did not want to have her on it forever since they started at such an early age, and continue on with all the risks. And she has been off of them for a few years. Now to the future, BAMM, a few weeks ago she just felt a little dizzy getting up and said wouldn't it be something after being married 9 months that I could be pregnant. So one day she goes what the heck, I am going to do a pregnancy test..........................Yup. She was in shock, and took 2 days to tell Brandon. When she did he was in shock and still is taking it in, and boy is he protective of DD. So I asked her has she had any cravings yet. YUP So Sunday I made I already had pulled a turkey out to thaw and she wanted a Thanksgiving dinner, turkey, stuffing, green bean casserole, corn twice baked potatoes, rolls and salad. And had a DQ Oreo blizzard cake for dessert. She consumed mass quantities of food for her 115 pound build. So as I was taking them to the airport this morning at 2:30am to catch their flight to Oklahoma for a conference I go do you want me to make you anything for Wednesday dinner. She goes "I like your ham and scalloped potato casserole." So when I get home from dropping them off I started gathering supplies and then sat down to watch some news, (hijacking Radio's phrase) when I got up I made the casserole and popped it in the oven on a protective tray to avoid smoke signals from dripping. I no sooner start a load of wash and both the ADT and home smoke detectors go off like its nuclear war siren. Now the dogs are running around, and I open the deck slider and throw them on the deck, get the window box fans and put them in 3 windows, throw the casserole outside and now the phone is ringing. It is ADT central letting me know the fire alarm is going off, I gave them the pass code and I told her it was a smoking oven from drippings, she goes the alarm will not shut off till the smoke is gone, and she will give me 10 min. to ventilate and if not she will call the fire department. After 8 minutes they finally shut off. The house stinks, smoke gone, dogs calm, I actually threw away the casserole thinking it was the problem and it wasn't. I am going to make another attempt at the casserole tomorrow in the crock pot, put I need more ham and cheese. Gotta feed the mama to be. So I called the DH and told him the fire alarms work, and he goes, "do I want to know how you know" I said 'LATER" I really should inquire about writing a column in the Warren Tribune.....You cannot make this stuff up, and I don't. Take care Warm in Ohio Inside house 72 Outside 57. This is the third attempt to post this. CC hates me lately. 11
HBE4 Posted May 3, 2022 #56367 Share Posted May 3, 2022 Regarding Medical bills, does anyone ever pay the full price? Every bill I've ever received from a hospital / doctor / dentist / pharmacy would have 3 columns: 1) a "full price", 2) a "discounted / negotiated price" and 3) the amount insurance company or I had to cover. The discounted price is always substantially less than the full price. Sometimes when the insurance company only pays a portion of the discounted price, I don't always have to make up the difference. Even when the insurance company denied coverage for a certain line item, I'd still only be on the hook for the "discounted price" and sometimes even just a portion of it or none of it. Between deductibles, co-pays and out of pocket maximum (both individual and family), it's like trying to figure out Royal's math. Speaking of which, it's kind of like Royals Cruise Planner sales. Does any one ever pay full price for the beverage package or excursion? 😉

There were a couple of women in the Twin Club I belonged to who had a twin with Cerebral Palsy. One of the children had only a slight problem with his walking. Another mom of twins was not as lucky. Her daughter was severely handicapped as a result of having CP. She couldn't talk, and was wheelchair bound. Our club always had a yearly fund raiser, and one year we donated a lift for their bathtub as the child got older and it was becoming difficult for her parents to lift her. These same parents, after having twin daughters, then had a set of identical twin boys. What a lovely and dedicated couple they are.

One thing that Linda did for me that helped is after surgery she organized all my meds (I was on 10 of them) in bowls of AM and PM. It helped me keep track of when to take them. Also I think we talked about the cold therapy machine. That will be your friend. Also for the toilet I would get an extender to help getting on and off.
