Then in our home shortly after.

 

We were on the go all weekend, and would not have been home and we did not think that would be fair to her, if we brought her home Saturday. And it was easy to schedule her adoption for Tuesday.

 

We did do our Pets Mart run Saturday and just got done getting her room ready, kitty proof and all.

 

But if you want a sneak peek at her she is the busy one.

I met up with Marietta, Charlie and family.  We sat for about an hour chatting.   Really great meet her and ger beautiful family.   

I gave the little ones some hints on where they can find some cruise ducks.    

We may see each other in DL for Happy Hour.

Yes our purrrty kitty soon to be here with us  was the only sibling to have white paws. 

 

When we first met at the AWL on Friday there were 8 kittens in the video kitten room. 

Some have already moved onto their new family homes. 
 

We picked the friendliest one that romped around and evicted all others from      “ the perch”.  So she is queen of the hill. 
 

She eventually will always get on the perch as others relinquish it. 
 

In less than 24 hours she will be in her new home. 
 

Perches are ready.

I am drinking a new cocktail tonight for happy hour.  It's a Raspberry Bourbon Lemonade.  I actually had one at a local restaurant but then promptly forgot about it.  I had to guess at the recipe and my  first attempt is excellent.

 

Fill a Collins glass with ice and add 2 oz Bourbon, 1 oz Chambord.  Top with lemonade.  I didn't measure the lemonade but added about 1/3 of a little 11.5 oz bottle of Simply Lemonade, so about 4 oz.  Stir and add 3 fresh raspberries as a garnish.  Very tasty and refreshing.  I may try to play with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup rather than the bottled lemonade, but it's easy and tasty with the bottled stuff. 

 

Next in line for happy hour experimentation (another night) is a Bramble.  My local liquor store doesn't carry Creme de Mure blackberry liqueur, so I'll try it with Chambord instead. I prefer the taste of raspberry to blackberry so that's not a problem for me.  Rumor has it that Dick Bradsell, who invented the Bramble, is British and wanted to make a drink with all British components.  The only place that he could source the blackberry liqueur was France.  🤣  Cocktails are fun!
