We are Oasis out of Cape Liberty. It’s the first sailing from up here for the summer season. It deadheaded up so boarding started before 10 and cabins were available when we boarded. Luggage was delivered before noon.

Awesome. Have a great cruise! Where are you headed to?

We're finally packed (1 suitcase!) for our 10 day NJ trip tomorrow.  Weather for the next 10 days is a mixed bag with temps in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.  No rain predicted. woohoo!  Whenever we visit, I wash everything the day before we leave so that when we arrive home, I can relax and not worry about laundry.  AND if I forgot anything, of course, there's always shopping!

Safe travels. Is the 10 days strictly in NJ or does it include driving time? Or are you flying?

We're super busy this week.  Today we went to our grandson Jack's Tennis Match.  Tomorrow evening we'll be at William's 6th Grade Band Concert.  He's playing Trumpet.  Wednesday is Ava's Senior Lacrosse game, and  Thursday evening is Ryan's 8th Grade Band Concert.  He's playing Saxophone.

We are in Port Canaveral tomorrow, then Coco Cay and Nassau. Not a great itinerary but we just wanted to get away for our anniversary and my birthday. We will go again in November for DH birthday.

We usually visit my Mom when we go into Port Canaveral but she isn’t going down to her house down here so we are headed there tomorrow to bring back some stuff she wants. Cheaper for us to get stuff instead of my brother shipping stuff up.

I have to wait until I can watch it on Peacock tomorrow.   Enjoy!

Good to know. I missed most of it. Caught the last 10 minutes on CPTV (Connecticut Public TV) which is a station I didn't realize I even had.  Saw a bit of Katie Perry and the band that followed and the broadcast was abruptly halted. I guess the concert ran long & CPTV had to move onto the next show.

All this talk about looking forward to going to a diner makes me realize I better not take for granted that I have 7 diners within a 20 minute radius of my house.

Ok, so NY not NJ diners but the only difference is the lack of "disco fries" in NY. 🙂

When we started cruising on a regular basis 20 years ago, we did a cruise on Celebrity to the Panama Canal, and other ports in the area.  On the way back, we decided to do a TA

We liked it so much , we did a yearly west  bound crossing.  DW found some of her fellow nurses took a winter cruise, on RCCL. As a result, she has more cruise points than I do.

We turned Pin based on her points.  And  we just booked her free cruise in October with that voucher.

Meanwhile, I am also getting close to 700 myself, and we will get another free cruise when I hit 700.  I didn't expect  that.

We will get on a 7day casino comp on Adventure this Saturday.

You must not be linked together.  If you are linked then even if you are at different points you will not get the free cruise when you reach 700 points.

Ah, got it. Thanks. Too much outdoor time has left my reading comprehension iffy. I'll blame it on allergies. 🙂

I’m enjoying the pictures from Hawaii.  It’s on our list but we haven’t gone yet.

Sadly, I learned this afternoon that 2 of the little girls that died Saturday at the mall shooting, went to our grade school, a block away.  We don’t know them personally but they live in our neighborhood.  They were the ages of 2 of my grands.  It breaks my heart.

When I go out tomorrow I’ll check to see if we can leave flowers on the corner.  The school didn’t announce it to the students but are allowing parents instead to discuss it as they see fit. How hard it would be to speak to innocent children about such a tragedy.

Sorry to bring up a sad topic.

I didn't think so that's why I questioned Greg's post that he takes both Claritin and Allegra during allergy season.  Hopefully he's not taking both at the same time. @Sea Dog

I made a mistake it’s not Claritin that I take it’s Zyrtec with the Allegra. I take the generic brands.

I just saw your previous post.  I didn't know that you could combine these meds.

Maybe you shouldn’t but I do and it’s worked. My doctor knows I do it and hasn’t told me not to.

No need to apologize as it hits close to home. Not just physically close, while you may not know the victims personally,  there is a pretty good chance that you know someone that does.

Thanks  What about Cozumel  Ever been to Playa Mia or Chankanaab- those are the 2 that Royal offers thru their shore excursions?

We swam with the manatees at Chankanaab. They are so cute. They hug you while you feed them lettuce. It is kind of like feeding a garbage disposal. And then they ignore you when the food is gone.

We purchased directly with the park. But anyway, it was pretty inexpensive. As I recall, $30 or so, which included admission to the park. I think it was $19 each way for a cab there. The beach is nice. There is a restaurant. Drinks are reasonable and the snorkeling is supposed to be good. There are no vendors, but there is a push to buy photos.

The large crowds from the ships were there for the dolphin swim. Chankanaab is really about the animal encounters.

If you are just looking for a beach day, Playa Mia would probably be better. 😊
