I have a Netflix series to recommend:Griselda starring Sofia Vergara. Her acting is fantastic. One season ,6 episodes.I watched all of it last night.

Thanks for the recommendation.  We're always looking for new things to watch.  We recently started watching something old...True Detective.  We're 3/4 of the way through the first season with Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson and like it a lot.  We've got 2 more older seasons to watch and a 4th season just started.  Should keep us busy for a bit.

Happy to hear everything went well even though I missed what she had done.

I’ve been not as focused keeping up with various threads on CC and posting. I’ve hit a very frustrating period in my knee replacement rehab. Dealing with a lot of pain and restless leg syndrome at night that’s driving be crazy. My rom  bend isn’t progressing as much as I wanted. Very depressed right now with everything.

I'm so sorry you're dealing with pain!!

@Sea Dog Greg, so sorry you hit a snag with your recovery.  Experiencing pain is definitely depressing but please know you WILL get past this.  Is rom range of motion?  Hopefully, next week's sunshine will perk you up as you continue to improve.

Good news that Linda is doing well with her recovery.  Hoping the same for you.

Thank you Bonnie. I am confident I will get through this period but it’s tough always being sore and achy 24/7.

Thanks I know it will get better with time. It was a year before my other knee felt good.

So my daughter overloaded my washer and killed the pump.  Luckily, my great appliance guys came and fixed it without killing our bank account!  The poor thing is used to the machines in her condo that can take larger loads.  She has been upset for two days, can’t let her be stressed out, she has been through enough.

I’m very sorry about your knee pain.  It takes time to heal and not everyone recuperates in the same time frame.  Something to keep in mind so others are not dissuaded from knee surgery.  My husband had a completely different outcome for both of his knees. He was doing well within weeks . I hope , you feel better soon , Greg.

I canceled Bella 2.5 this afternoon. Sadly, my TA told me she is retiring. How dare she abandon me like that ? 😟

Calcium plus magnesium might help the restless leg issue. (I use mag glycinate.)

Thanks Judy for your comments. Yes it’s true everyone recovers differently and it’s true even with both my knees they have some things that are similar but many things different. Since I’m 12 weeks out I’m sure it will be better 6 months out.

Sorry to hear you cancelled 2.5 I’m sure our good friend Ken could help you out with a rebooking.

Someone else suggested mag glycinate. I will check that out. Thank you!

Rangers vs last year's Stanley Cup Champs Vegas Golden Knights. Hoping for a competitive game. Last time these 2 teams met it was a lop-sided loss for Rangers.

Secrets makes a point of saying that tipping is included in the price.  I'd assume that you can tip additionally if you'd like but wouldn't be surprised if it was like George said and they don't actually allow tipping.

We also typically like to be active and we've got a beach/pool right here, so beach vacations, especially where you never leave the resort, aren't normally our thing.  We'll fly there on Monday and fly back on Friday so I think I'll survive 3 full days of reading and relaxing.  They do have continual activities including some form of show in the evenings, which will help.

Looking forward to your thoughts. I only did AI once in Punta Cana, back in 2007 for 10 days. Which is 3-5 days to long according to my AI friends. Colonial Manor which was a beautiful resort in the mid-price range but I started to get cabin fever by day 6. Casino was a joke & shows were nit-n-miss. The activities staff (aka cruise directors) did their best to make the beach games fun. Drinks were weak & food was just ok.

Doesn't sound like that good of a time. Were there attractions in the area to see?

It was one and done for me but maybe I picked the wrong resort?? Im sure the big chains are much better.

And no, there you couldn't just walk off the resort. The main gate was like a mile away & nothing but jungle beyond. We did do a few catamaran  excursions but everything was an hour cab away.  Ended up going to Hard Rock a few nights for a real casino and shows.

But it's a perfect resort for those that like  lounge of the beach with a book. Nothing wrong with that but I just needed to explore on my own & couldn't really.

Nothing but gloomy, dreary, drizzly weather here with a little snow mixed in earlier this week.  The high today was 55 degrees and we have more rain coming over the next several days. I’ll take it, along with the warmer temps, over snow any day,

@Luckynana has it warmed up at all for you?

The weather here is finally, finally, finally behaving as it is supposed to!  The past two days have been humid and hot, getting close to 80!  The sun has been here, also!  We had our first cook out last evening, and I got into the pool today.  Thanks for asking, Deb!🥰

Read in the paper this morning that singer Melanie Safka passed away. I liked her song "Beautiful People". I also thought she was quite beautiful herself back in the day.

This makes me sad, although I have to say that when Jim and I saw her last year in Concert at a College in N.J., she was escorted onto the stage by her son, while walking with her cane.  Her voice certainly wasn't what we were used to hearing at all of the many concerts that we attended back in the late '60's, early '70's., but every once in a while while she sang that evening, the voice we knew and loved would sneak in.

We loved her so much, that we named one of our twin daughters Melanie after this beautiful Folk singer.   May she Rest in Peace.

Oh Greg, I'm sorry to hear that you are getting depressed due to your frustration over your knee rehab.  I imagine it has to be hard since you did so well your first time around.  Don't give up!  This too shall pass.

How is Linda doing with her rehab?

One of my son in laws was in my house today. He recommended a British film :The Zone Of Interest that will be on Netflix next month. It was nominated as best Foreign film for an Oscar.

I saw the True Detective that you referenced. It was excellent.

She’s doing great! I’ll get there eventually.

I am looking for a recommendation from some of our friends here.

Our plans for Summer of Fun 4.0 continue, and part of that is to take the grandkids and our daughter and SIL on the Utopia.  I just booked all of our flights to Orlando MCO).

Has anyone used a car service they can recommend.  Since there will be seven of us, plus luggage, I would like to keep all of us in one vehicle like a van or stretch limo, instead of using a couple Ubers.  We would be going to our hotel at Port Canaveral, since we arrive the day before the cruise.

If anyone has someone they could recommend, I would appreciate it.

Last August we used Gojiffyjeff dot com we had 7 of us .

Today I washed the full size duvet insert from our guest bedroom.  Checked the tag…machine washable.  We have an exotic (to me) Maytag.  Went to see how it was doing and it was flashing a “5d” code.  Yikes!!  WTH?  I pulled out the (useless) manual.  Not a single error code listed.  😡  Asked Mr. Google.  Turns out it actually was a “Sd” code that means the machine is dispersing excess suds.  I can’t even imagine how it senses such a thing!  I did not use more detergent than I normally use…. I was horrified and thought we were going to have to haul the sopping wet monstrosity out and wrangle it to a commercial laundry…. Luckily it did all it announced it was and all was well.

Apparently not.In addition I have a cousin who will be 82 next month who is an Opthalmologist in PA who performs surgery as part of his practice.

Sorry to any doctors out there, but I don’t think I would want an 80 yo doing surgery on me. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Packing today for our 2 month trip to Australia and NZ.  We got a Royal Up to a balcony on the last 2 B3B which is the circumnavigation around Australia.  Although one is really obstructed we are happy as we placed really low bids.  The original cost for a balcony on these was almost double and we couldn’t justify the cost.  When Royal changed ships from Enchantment to Brilliance we lost our original cabin and had 3 different cabins anyway. Fresh air for 34/46 nights will be wonderful.

Enjoy your cruise. It’s beautiful there.
