How much water do you drink? For every alcohol drink I try to have a glass of water.  It helps when I remember to do it.  Lol

Probably not enough. In Hilton Head I did drink a little more water but maybe I am still not drinking enough.

FYI no good deed goes unpunished.  My husband and I were helping 2 ladies on scooters exit the elevator.  It was closing before they could back out.  Darned if one of them didn't back right onto my foot.  Ouch that is going to leave a bruise.

@Seadog

Chiming in here with what Sue @Lionesssand Bonnie @BonTexasNY have posted re: swollen ankles on vacation.

I had experienced them in past cruises, but found that copious amounts of water and walking helped the issue on later cruises. Plus cruise/restaurant food can be loaded with salt and preservatives.

At home, we stay away from processed food and try to make good choices while in restaurants.

Some lifestyle changes can make a person feel so much better.

Hoping your Dr’s can give you good advice and guidance for improved health.

My guess...Rob will be the last one out of the maze and will go home.  If they had shown that to everyone at the end of the last show, half the audience wouldn't bother tuning in for the finale. This way, they keep all of the Rob fans watching.

I hope that none of those 3 women win any money on that show.

My wife has also struggled in the past with swollen calves, feet and ankles. Especially while flying and cruising. Meds might be better for you, but have you tried compression socks? March 2022 on the second leg of our Caribbean B2B cruise on the Explorer she had a vein blowout. Open wound. Not a pretty sight.  We met a couple in the DL one evening and sat next to us in  the MDR. They advised (based on their personal experiences) my wife to see a wound specialist when we returned home. To tell ya the truth, we never heard of that kind of specialist. Weird conversation but beneficial to my wife. When we got home she saw an open wound specialist and had excellent repair results. One thing the Dr. suggested/ stressed was to wear compression socks. Traveling or not.  Every cruise after 2022 she hasn't had issues with ankle, calves and feet swelling. Always wears her compression socks before getting on the plane.

I have been wearing compression  socks since 2004.I wear them till bedtime .During the night I wear diabetic socks even though I am not diabetic .There are many Wound Specialist doctors in my area.I have been to 2.I

Thanks for your suggestions. I wonder if wearing them at night when I am in bed would help too?

My Vascular doctor recommended wearing Diabetic socks at night in bed.I am not a Diabetic.I use a brand called Tru Fit. I have been wearing them 20 years. They come in black or white and last a long time .

Good afternoon.

It is 68°F and sunny now at 17.25pm.

We went to the beach and had some chips then went further along the road and watched the Newcastle to Amsterdam DFDS cruise ferry leaving Newcastle.

Beautiful pictures Graham. The color of the water looks more like the Med or Caribbean, would have never guessed it was the North Sea 🙂

My friend decided to adopt another kitty. No name assigned as yet...

I suggested "Samba", since one of the other kitties is a Siamese called "Sushi" (the other one is called Lychee), and we have a very popular chain of restaurants called "Sushi Samba".

So now I have another [step]kitty to be proud of 😍

Soo cute.  I like the name Samba.  He/She looks very soft with big paws.   Look forward to more pictures😻

While on Icon a guy sat next to me in the wheelchair area at a show.  Found out that he needed his wheelchair because someone the day before road a scooter over his foot and broke it.

Looks great!   We had our roof replaced last Spring and it does give you peace of mind knowing all is well, especially after the first rain and confirm no leaks.

Thank you, Debbie.  I love the way it looks.  Finally, all matching roofs!  When the previous owners had the attached apartment built, the shingles they used didn't match.

We just went through a drive-thru.   When we got to the window Sharon said sorry if I asked to many questions.   He replied,  No problem.   Ask as many as you what..  .... so I asked, How many seconds are in a year?  He was thinking real hard trying to figure it out and then I said ........ 12 ......  There's January 2nd, February 2nd...... He was laughing and asked if I liked any Sundaes.  I answered all Sundays.   He ended up giving me a free hot fudge sundae and said keep the jokes coming!

You and your "dad" jokes!!  Love it!  You keep us smiling with your jokes, John!   I'm looking forward to meeting you in person on our Bella 2 cruise!🥰

The new roof looks great! Amazing they were able to get so much done in one day, and thank goodness with rain in the forecast.

Thank you, Deb!  Grateful that it was done in it's entirety due to the threat of rain;  however, it never rained here today🤔

@brillohead  Glad to hear that you were not affected by the tornado.
