she got home and we took her outside where is did go potty. Came inside and the breeder said feed her as it was time. She ate all her food, took her back outside 10 minutes later and she did her number two. I hope this will continue. Now she is asleep in my arms.

Now let’s backup. At the breeder we were told that all the puppies had been sold except for one. Well guess what?

Yes we added a brother to Elizabeth. Meet Sir Charles or Charlie as we will call him . We will come back and pick him up next week after he is microchiped. We couldn’t be happier. This

Sea Dog is a proud papa!

Congratulations.  They are adorable.

Not on purpose though. Unfortunately we can’t head to the wind jammer for a snack.

I snapped a couple pictures of a few of our tree ornaments.

Every year my mother in-law has always snuck an angel themed ornament onto the tree in honour of our little Allie.

This year I got a bacon ornament from Lisa.

They had a big, exciting day! But Lizzie looks very content at your home. They are so fortunate to have been adopted by such wonderful people who love them so much!  And you will both be home with them all the time now. :classic_biggrin:

Totally agree.  We are at MIL’s house, everyone already hit the sack, and it would be a bad idea for me to go sneaking around to find something.

Sorry I dont know who Poochie is

How does Mike like his Tesla?

I was thinking of him yesterday when Eric told us about a guy who blew up his Tesla in anger as it was going cost $20,000 to replace battery and his warranty was over.

He loves it. He finally got his employee parking sticker so he can drive it to work. How did the guy blow up his Tesla and in anger?

Wasn’t sure if you knew her. She has lived on Long Beach Blvd near Maiden Lane forever. She’s in her late 80’s early 90’s. Some other people I know that went there every year were the Woods. Mike’s family and the Woods belonged to BLYC and were big into sailing.

Perfect! Christmasy without cluttering the room!

We like to decorate the window for the current holiday. Before we go on our cruise in Feb (if we even get to go) we'll put up valentines day stuff. Then St Pat's day, even though we're not Irish, etc. Love that Dollar Tree. They have cute cheap decorations.

The floor always has to be kept clean for her wheelchair or in case they need a stretcher. The blue thing is a cushion when she's in bed. She isn't strong enough to do it on her own and doesn't remember always that. The pad acts as a cushion in case she falls.

@grapau27 Merry Christmas!  Since we have been celebrating. I have a question for folks in Great Britain, including @sgmn and others.

If biscuits are cookies, (and we love cookies) what do you call actual biscuits, that you have with butter or jam and do you have bread in a tube? It is one of those curious conversations. :classic_biggrin:

large_8b3e3f82-5f84-494a-bfa6-7ad40607a418.webp

Hi @Coralc what you call biscuits, we call scones. You can have them plain with cream (or butter) and jam (essential part of a Cornish Cream Tea) or with raisins . Or savoury baked with cheese.  We have dough for biscuits or cinnamon rolls in a tin but I've never seen bread in a tin

Whew, all caught up. It was lovely seeing how you all celebrated your Christmas's and Holidays.

On Christmas Eve, Christmas starts for me with listening to Nine lessons and Carols from King's College . We were lucky to have both our boys and their partners with us at various times over the Christmas period.

Yesterday we dogsat our sons 4 month golden retriever pup whilst they visited my DILs extended family . She's a bit crazy and enjoyed jumping all over our five year old collie. If you zoom in you can see Gary holding them by the misty lake
