A few photos from the week. I had  to “rescue” Lucy from the hay stack this week. Look up, way up.

She immediately went up a tree minutes later, only a few feet up though.

She’s in there.

I had to look 3 times at the picture, before I found Lucy in the hay stack!

Sigh.  How is it that I'm the only one who understands NY state geography?  😉 Buffalo is Western NY.  Upstate is north of Albany.  Here is what most NYC people falsely think:

I agree with Ellen that some NYC people would even include Westchester in their upstate definition.  Here is the true fact, officially endorsed by me who knows everything, map of NY regions:

Upstate is... : r/upstate_new_york

Well done, Bob!  Great visual!

We had friends over for dinner and card playing last night.
Quite a bit of wine was consumed which may be why I lost at cards 😆

I almost said it as kids we usually said soda at home and coke when out.

Coke vs Pepsi

Coke is definite winner, IMO

Today was the last day of the High School play,  "A Christmas Carol".  Jack was the Sound Assistant.  What an awesome play the school put on!  Acting, wardrobe, props, set design, lighting, everything...I was very impressed.  Of course, at the end of the performance and the kids were all on stage, my eyes were all misty.  Happens during Parades, too...

Jack did such a great job with the sound effects!!

We have had to put some dog playpen fencing around the Christmas trees to keep the dogs from trying to chew on ornaments and such. We figured we would introduce the pups to the trees slowly so that they would get used to them. Lizzy found her favorite spot.

St Louis is Sub, Soda, and Youz

And here I thought "youz" was a NY thing.

Like @LuckynanaMaryann, I'm a Pepsi girl.  I love when we're out, and I order a diet Coke, the server asks "is diet Pepsi ok"?  I just assume every place offers only diet coke.

Just wanted to clarify, if you set up Wi-Fi Calling on your cell phone before your trip, you can text/call as usual when connected to the ship's internet.

I keep my Wi-Fi Calling turned on 24/7/365... if my cell signal is weak but I have a decent Wi-Fi signal (like at home where my cell service is in a bit of a dead zone), my phone just automatically routes the call over Wi-Fi instead.

Thanks.  I have to look into that.
