@Jimbo

Jim, all I can say that it was worth the wait. Just beautiful.

How many "eyes" has your stove? I'm counting eight....

6 Burners, 1 Timer Dial and 1 for the Oven.

Not quite done just yet, still waiting for 4 new correct Doors for the Cabinets. The doors with no black handles yet need to have those doors changed out.

The wall behind the Tv needs a second coat of paint, and some  white baseboard trim needs to be touched up.

Plus the top trim over the Microwwave  still needs to be out on so it looks like the trim over by the stove and fridge.

Plus the one closet , where you see a double door behind microwave still needs to have wire metal shelves put in it for more storage.

Other then that pretty much complete.

I still need to put 2 coats of sealer on the bricks after we get back from Disney.

Finally had my graduation.  Got to wear my red gown, I had it on through lunch and got quite attached to it.  It feels strange that this is really the end of me coming to Sheffield University, I have been a part time student and the whole journey from application to graduation has been ten years ,! !

I don’t share many photos but I am sharing today’s.

Just watched the latest episode of Below Deck. These were the worst charter guests I’ve ever seen. Hilarious to watch these idiots smoke cigars backwards. I’ve never smoked a cigar in my life but know what end is what. What a S#%t show that was?

Congratulations! That is a wonderful and awesome accomplishment with your PhD. Very few people get to that level of education. I believe that you said that you had retired, though? Do you have plans for a second career? 😊 I thought about a Master's in Public Administration after my Biology degree, because I was working in government, but decided not. Biology and bugs and animals are my first love, not Poli Sci.

Test -- I'm trying to post a video of DH trying his best to comply with the kids' requirements of "hand made pasta".... If the experiment will succeed, he will proceed to find more suitable tools instead of just hangers....

Looks delightful. Creative use for the hangers. I love it.

I'm sorry to hear of the death of your dear Auntie and send our condolences to all your family.

The item looks like a serving dish and nicely decorated but no idea of its value.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Bontex, Ozark and our hostess-with-the-mostest Dani helped identify it for us. Passover Sader dish. Catholic girls just don't know these things!

Wet & overcast Saturday morning in Sydney for our prebooked Coffee Paddle Kayak Tour.

Only our family of three + guide on the tour.  All of us in single kayaks.  Started early and the harbour was calm and there was no wind or swell. This was great for paddling,

Paddled from Manly Sailing Club (close to Manly Wharf) out to Smedleys Head, then across to Collins Beach for a short break, then paddled onto Store Beach - a beautiful small beach that can only be reached by water - the perfect place for a swim (water temps were so nice today for swimming) and finishing up at Quarantine Beach for another swim before heading straight back to Manly Wharf.  On the return paddle, DH was very thankful we all managed to stay upright when the wash from two Manly Ferries & one Manly fast ferry reached our Kayaks….

We thoroughly enjoyed the 2.5hr kayak tour and agreed we would rather paddle in rain & overcast conditions than the hot temps forecast for tomorrow, even if it means the photos don’t do justice to the beaches we went to.8EFB9BC8-612C-4321-AB5C-B7F8BBD637E5.thumb.jpeg.4c73bba01125ae6b8ad3134171119a67.jpeg
