The traffic there occasionally gets banked up because of the timing between the sets of traffic lights.ย  It's nowhere as bad as it used to be.ย  I heard there was a covid case at the brick pits/South Village the other day.ย

I lived in the Shire for 30 years, worked there๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธYe olde Fiveways roundabout, pre traffic lights and reconstruction was a nightmare, massive delays, as you say.

I have tended to buy (used) white cars (6), as one they are most populous and are generallyย cheaper because of that fact. They are better suited for an Australianย  summer andย the paint work holds up better especiallyย  compared to so colours.ย

That said I have had cars that were 1x red, 2xgold, 1xbeige and 1xlight grey.

I find the traffic light system now to be quite confusing tbh. I'm not the most confident driver at the best of time and having to do that weird 45 degree turn off towards Caringbah would stress me to no end.ย

When we bought our current car we opted for the only colour that wasn't black/white/gray/silver which left us with gold, although Toyota called it bronze. In one respect it's a great colour. It rarely looks dirty even when it hasn't been washed for months. Now that's a useful colour!

My Mitsubishi Mirage is red, I bought it because that was the only colour they had in stock at the time other than white. I quite like it as there are not many around so it is easy to pick out in car parks.

Bit like me Gut, I have blown way too much money on cars and travel.ย  I should never had pressed the business class flight button and mini suite cruse ship button on the puter.

Many of them were junk when I bought them, but all the budget would stretch to.

ย

Forgot our Honda CRV, silverย and Jazz, Blue.

ย

As for cruising I always thought it was only for the rich, first people I knew who went on a cruise were

ย

A multi millionaire

Bloke who won the million dollar lottery, well half of it

Retired QC who had been with DPP so old system pension and then 20+ years private practice.

Never thought it would be for battlers like us

Nice shot Neil. We didn't stay at Chateau Lake Louise we just had lunch there. We didn't really like Banff, our hotel was nice but a few kilometers out of town. The traffic was ridiculous and no parking anywhere. We stayed 2 nights but really didn't see any of Banff. We did find a nice Chinese food restaurant. It was totally by accident, we were in a traffic jam and decided to get out of it by stopping for supper. It was great meal and the traffic eased by the time we finished.

We have a Pearl White Toyota Venza with a light interior. It's a nice car. For our road trip it was in the new Subaru Forester, red with a black interior, just a bit toasty on the warm days.

Donโ€™t think I know the Venza, will have a look. The RAV4 is our first Toyota, but of course the Lexus are just fancy Toyotas,

I am definitely one of those thousands๐Ÿ˜‚. You could probably take alot of my photos and put them side by side with a travel brochure, minus the photoshopping๐Ÿ˜œ.ย

The Venza is a North American model, a tall station wagon as it were. We like it but I prefer the Subaru.
