"Yikes" careful what you say about the "Mod's" they'll delete this thread  :classic_ohmy:

Or give you bad boy points for breaking a rule about talking about moderators.   Right now another 5 day suspension wouldn't be hard to bear.

Where is Bob? I knew he wasn't around as a moderator any longer. But did he quit CC all together?

I think he went cold turkey, unless he lurks.  I have not “seen” him here since his day of retirement.  🤷‍♂️

I am relatively new to CC and have only been cruising for a couple of years.  What I find disturbing on this site is that many times when someone asks a question or posts a comment regarding their higher level loyalty status or stateroom/suite others feel it necessary to post disparaging remarks.  If a cruiser has spent, or is spending, their hard earned money to enjoy their time at sea in whatever capacity they choose, and are not hurting anyone else, then why be snarky to that person?  It seems to me that many times the biggest "snobs and elitists" are not those in D/D+/Pinnacle categories and/or Star Class Suites, but those who are not.  As we have learned from an early age, if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all.

Haters will hate! Seems to be a common theme these days in the 'world'.

5 days seem to be the new thing. 7 days was the norm before. 😇

Maybe the went to an escalating system.  My next one will probably be 7.

So I guess I should squash my plans for a "Rate the Moderator" poll? 😉

He was actually quite good as searching this board for information.  He did know a lot, but he also posted a lot of links to threads.

He was the king of the short, quick answer

I also found CC via Trip Advisor many years ago. For the longest time, I didn't even register as a CC member which allowed me to read the forums but not post.  I think the biggest difference between the two forums is that Trip Advisor tends to be more informative - people posting questions and getting their answers with very little thread hijacking. Members can even be ranked on how helpful they are. CC tends to be more "social" with various clique's of members - some posting valuable  information or insider tricks ...

There is a ranking system here as well😉

Thanks.

I have seen where members have

Reputation Points but never understood why they had them.

14 of the top 24 are regular posters here. I feel like I'm in rarefied air
