We like all the C&A perks and use many of them. Am I the only person who doesn't think it is all about the free cheap alcohol?  When I add them up - it is a huge savings for us.

On most very cruise we use the ( In no particular  order) - I

- Free wash and fold, especially of an a B2B.

 - Free photo, yes, even after all our cruises,  we still like a photo.

 - Free Internet.  The reason we can cruise often is that we can stay connected  to our office.

 - BOGO  specialty dinner, we  sometimes use both

 - Free Specialty coffee with specialty dinner

 - % off at salon.  Husband gets a haircut,  and  with discount it comes out to about the  same price as     at home.  When we sailed every 4-6 weeks, he was right on schedule.

 - 3 C&A level gifts -   order Domain Chandon, Estancia Pinnacles Ranch  Pinot Noir and Mer Soleil Chardonnay.    ( all  3 worth about $175 at RCCL on board  prices

 -  3 drinks on card, or lounge access. Prefer lounge access mainly  for light breakfast and coffee

 - % off at gift ship ( use occasionally)

 - BOGO glass of wine,  sometimes use to get a high end glass of wine.

 - Balcony discount

 - nice waiting area in terminals, priority lines at security and check-in,

 - Plus on board benefits such as behind the scenes /bridge  tours,  meal with officer, special cocktail party(s) , priority seating at ice rink ( don't use another venues),   etc.

I get ALL the above ( and maybe some I forgot) , and some benefits  that I don't use on EVERY (7 night or longer) cruise.  Still get lots on 3/4/5 night but  lose a few.

For us it is a great benefit.

Yes, we also appreciate all the perks.......add to this list, we still take the time to pick up our 3 coins in the casino (yes, we've actually won a few t-shirts). 😊

Totally agree there!  Plus I love being able to walk into the lounge for a Latte or Espresso in the morning.  For some that sail solo...there is the discounted solo price as well.  When you add it all up...savings into the hundreds for those that use them.  And I am like you...I DO used them.  😉

They stopped giving the coins a while ago.  They just put a tiny credit on your card for the casino now.

Freedom, B2B Caribbean cruise, March 2019. We were each given the 3 slot machine coins at the cashiers window for both legs of the B2B cruise like all the past cruises.

The coins were generally worthless.  Most prizes were a ( must be present to win) raffle ticket for drawing (Cheap champagne and a t-shirt)  at 11PM the last evening.  They even stopped giving away the lowest prize of a  key ring.

Now you get  casino credit ( I think we got $6 each)  on the sea pass card to use in most any machine.

MUCH BETTER, at least in my opinion.

That has not been our experience for our sailings in 2019 or 2020, it has been a credit.

Like I said, not the case on our March 2019 Freedom cruises. Yeah I know. We have always use them. T shirt, key chain, etc... T shirts make great yardwork shirts.

That's why I specifically posted our latest experiences on our March 2019 B2B Freedom cruises. Possibly one of the changes the Freedom changed after she was AMPED after our March 2019 cruise.

Not sure, our Freedom cruise was cancelled, so didn't get to see the changes.

It stopped after that. It was gone by the time we sailed Dec 2019

Thanks. That's why I mention the Month, ship and year of our last experience. I always have saved one from all our cruises when we first made diamond and d+ up to 2019. I wonder if I'll be able to use them in the dedicated slot machine(s) if we ever get back on a RC ship. 😏

On our recent cruise in February on Allure we were given regular coins to be used in any slot machine. No more Spin to Win machine. I thought I read somewhere that this was fleet wide.

I can't tell you how me we have saved in alcohol purchases  HIC!!🍹🍻

These ongoing trips to the wine store instead of boarding a cruise are costing me a fortune.   It sucks having to buy all your own drinks. 🙂

I'd love to report back from our March 2021 B2B cruise, but after reading the latest on CC (concerning Princess and Holland America) sounds like those cruises possibly are going to be a no go. ☹️ But we may still have a shot as both legs are only 7 days long. 🤞

I think that March will soon be history.

I think you're right. For what it's worth, as of right now our glasses are still full and we are wearing our rose colored glasses. After our canceled cruises from this year the news won't be as shocking.
