Have you sailed with them before.

We gave them 3 chances. All were dissapointing, but its been a while.

Even had a butler on one. Still no good

Stayed twice in NCL Haven good but MSC YC excellent. On Seaside in YC twice would do it again in a heart beat but don’t want to fly anymore. So just settling for NCL Haven or RCL balcony. Can’t justify paying for what RCL considers suites compared to Haven or YC.

Please...

It is a FACT that the numbers of D, D+ and P have declined over the past year.  There were no sailings while, sadly, folks have passed away.  Do you dispute this FACT.

The other part of my statement clearly said that RCCL "MAY."  The use of the word "May" was also factual.

I'm saddened that it seems you feel a need to attack anything I say.

I would agree that the numbers went down through attrition, but not sure how that's germane to your comment.

My Fact is that dbl, triple, quaduple points will push those numbers back up practically overnight.

I don't disagree with everything. That is also a fact.

There was no MAY in your second post, BTW

We cruise a lot.  Almost platinum plus on NCL    Prefer their Transatlantic cruises by far.

Did have a horrible experience on the NCL Star in 2017.   Ship totally broke down.

But hate being nickled and dimed by any business.  Taking away benefits is just as bad.

Two our three NCL's were TA's

Gem when she was brand new, and Sun when she was past her prime. Gem was pre Haven, but in an OS, so we had access to what Haven would become. Just didn’t enjoy the vibe.

Sun was a disaster, but price was crazy cheap and it showed

Given that the amount of D, D+ and P have decreased (perhaps significantly) over the past year, there should be no reason to believe there will cuts in benefits.  If anything, RCCL may have to increase benefits to attract more people back to sailing.

Simply the facts.

Do you  have a link, or something other than your opinion, to support your above statements.

We were on NCL Gems maiden voyage from Dover UK in October 2007 and loved it.

We did NCL Sky to Cuba in 2016.  The Sky is an older ship. We had an OS in the front of the ship, and it was a very expensive cruise. But was very glad to cruise to Cuba before all Cuba cruises from US were shut down.

I think us upper RCI C&A people should donate our privileges to those who are not.  I am doing this because Yogi told me we should.  So, I am going to wander down the halls around 5pm find a respectable looking inside cabin couple who don’t look privileged and hand my card, and tell them to go to the DL and party like it is 1999, and please bring my card back to me in the morning, because I realize now.. that I am super privileged, and if they order caviar and multiple bottles of champagne and spend a few thousand in the casino losing,  I am going to chalk it up to it is ok that is just my privilege, being given back to the poor and the downtrodden.  I challenge Yogi to do the same!

I should have done that on Allure with my STAR card

Since when did your speculations become facts? 🙄🙄🙄

Declining C&A members is a decent assumption, especiallt with Covid rampant.

Someone did a thread about an avid cruiser passing

i agree. It does get exhausting after while. Most grudge matches do, whether online or IRL. Thankfully someone else is on a timeout otherwise it would be double the pain.

As I said, it saddens me.  Then again, I am thankful for those who refuse to resort to personal attacks or feel a need to oppose any comment made by an individual.

And yes, I have noticed that someone is missing!

So, I know why the bookends are missing.  Well the first bookend, I don’t actually know except she removed herself the last bookend is obvious, but the middle I have no clue why they are missing?

I stand on the mountain, Swami (I was going to say Yogi but that would appear to be picking on someone, but isn’t a Yogi a zen master or some such eastern belief thing), please share your enlightenment on me the pathetic novice.
