No debating from me but, the ventilation for smoke in the casino on the Enchanted is absolutely terrible. Much worse than any of the other ships. There wasn't even one area where you could say it was tolerable.

It make me wonder if the Sky Princess is similar.

Am happy with smoking in the casino.  It will save me money.  If passengers let staff know they will not gamble if there is smoking; that would get the message to Princess.

Just off the Discovery yesterday, Princess saved my brother & I lots of money the entire week. Never dropped a penny in the casino but would have if it were non smoking. Thank you Princess!

Totally agree.  It did seem a bit better on sea days during the day but after dinner was awful on all nights.  Saw numerous folks just sitting there smoking without actually feeding a machine.  Ashtrays were overflowing and gross.

@Steelers36Thank you for creating the survey and following up with Corporate.  Would love to know what their response will be.  Not to be a Doubting Debbie, but I can see them saying "Thank You, but smoking will continue".  At which time you could respond with "What happened to no smoking on Formal Nights"?

Good luck

a serious casino player is used to casino's where smoking is allowed.

the casual cruise ship casino player is possibly not

which one will Princess cater to?

Not one casino in all of Canada, and there are hundreds, allows indoor smoking.  Not one.  And, they are extremely busy!  Yes, even serious players!  A non smoking player is also a smart player.  Just ask Celebrity casino players!

I cannot update thread anymore due to time limit.  I would be fine with a total ban, but it seems impractical.  Just get it out of common indoor space for now and I am happy.  I can avoid a small area outdoors and have no need to enter Churchill's.

When I read smoking banned in Casino as a Covid measure, I wrote CR dept and 2/3 execs lauding the decision and saying I thought it should be permanent.  When I read smoking was back - and with no nights off - I wrote again excoriating them for doing that and asking if that was one ship alone or fleet policy now.  I have not received a reply to either missive.

Yes yes yes. Been hoping for this for years. Everyone pays good money to cruise but non smokers can only enjoy the casino maybe 2 nights of a cruise. Smokers have other areas to go have a smoke all the  time and manage just fine when casino is closed.
I don’t believe it would make much of a dent in profits as a matter a fact I think they would see an increase with seeing more non smokers spending time in casino as well as the so called serious smokers who would still go.
Canadian casinos are packed and they are all non smoking.

My husband and I honeymooned on Princess and we had to hold our breath every time we walked anywhere near the Casino. We are returning to Princess after 12 years with many cruises on Disney where smoking is only allowed in designated outdoor areas (they have no casino, but they get my bingo money!) and that second hand smoke wafting from the casino on Princess is something I am dreading.  I love to gamble and would happily spend most nights visiting the card tables if there is no smoking allowed.  As it is, I will avoid the Casino like the foul smelling plague it is.
