  1. The bid amount is per person for the entire cruise. So if you bid $500 it would actually cost $1,000 By the way there is no stupid questions. I learn something new here all the time.
  2. If you have an existing booking you can go to this link and see if you can apply it. I believe you can stop before it is actually submitted but will confirm each. I did this to check a list of ones I had to make sure. https://www.celebritycruises.com/post-booking/redeem-cruise-credit I found that I could do a mock booking and when get to the payment screen there is a question if you have FCC - Click yes and put in and it will apply it but not transact it until you press the submit button. As @TeeRick suggested you can also call your agent or Celebrity and they can also check for you. Finally - I found that you can call either your agent or Celebrity and have them run a report of all open FCC's
  3. Agree -- I try not to drink it as it's like battery acid but sometimes when I get up really early I need it to kick start. I've never found it cold but have had it pretty "concentrated" I often brink a Travel French Press and just go for the Hot Water.
  4. I agree. I was able to get some. While my doctor is one to follow the rules there are plenty on line Virtual Doctors that will prescribe after a Zoom Doctor Appointment. My local CVS filled the script in less than 30 minutes.
  5. Good luck on the test. You will be aboard shortly and all this pressure will be behind you. One thing I've done in the past of stressing over the test is do a pre-test a day or 2 before. Hope you will post occasionally about your cruise. One member of your Cheering Squad.
  6. Totally up to you. YOu can use it or rely on the paper daily left on your bed. I often use it to see what are on the menus in various restaurants.
  7. If I'm not mistaken the Coffee and drinks are available 24 hours a day. I've never been up there between 1AM and early.
  8. That I don't for sure as I've not even hit Pearl yet. I know many Zenith's and they Know the other Blue Chips pretty well I guess word would spread and I would say all hell would break loose if Zenith's found out Blue Chips were allowed in and Zenith's weren't. Both are a pretty small groups and often we know the hosts well enough to say--- oh are they Zenith's or is So and So aboard.
  9. While I may not know everyone in Retreat because many dine at different hours than us, all of us Zeniths know each other from Zenith Only events and we would know if a non-suite Zenith was in Retreat. @Northern Auroraare a class act and doesn't deserve being snarked at.
  10. You may have to go ashore into the terminal depending on if required for B2B processing. If so it is only for about 10-15 minutes. We have had to clear customs in the terminal in Port Everglades while in San Diego, Southampton and Yokohama they did it on the ship.
  11. No pretty much any port. Time may vary slightly and some ports require B2B's to go ashore to zero out the ship while others do it totally aboard. As for the Transit Pass system - It has been the same in the following ports I've done B2B's Honolulu, Sydney, Yokohama, Southampton, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Port Everglades and San Diego. In April in Southampton they put on a B2B tour to Buckingham Palace so we all met in theater an used our Transit Passes upon rejoining the ship instead of waiting for the B2B processing. Would be interested to hear if other B2B's have had a different experience.
  12. I have to say Whale Watching is a passion of ours and have done it a number of times. Last time we were tendered at Prince Rupert it was like on an excursion. Whales were everywhere and some breaching near the tender boats. Never experienced that before or since but passengers were raving about it. The Captain of course said he had arranged the show just for all of us.
  13. A place we enjoy for a light lunch that is safe from dirty fingers is the AquaSpa Cafe. They have a really good Caprice Salad, dollops of Salmon, Tuna or Chicken Salad and they make featured sandwich per order. Unknown to many they also have Greek Yogurt usually not out on display.
  14. If you you follow a threads you can choose the type of notification. To modify go to you icon top right and from drop down choose Manage Followed Content. Usually after you have read they disappear.
  15. I've experienced the same recently but today I had to call Chase and the call was answered on the first ring. I was shocked and not completely ready expecting a long wait.
  16. You can also do it via the web but buried at the last step, but can just click arrival to go directly to it.
  17. I noticed all these recommendations also --- BUT from CDC Site - they stopped monitoring ships and now only offer guidelines and leave it to the Cruislines. As of July 18, 2022, CDC’s COVID-19 Program for Cruise Ships is no longer in effect. CDC will continue to publish guidance to help cruise ships continue to provide a safer and healthier environment for passengers, crew and communities going forward. For more information, please see the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
  18. On July 1 they changed the COR to include a Positive Antigen OR PCR proctored test and a COR at least 11 days after first documented covid test. You present these two documents in lieu of a negative antigen or pcr to board. Some people continue to test positive for months after having had covid and tests show that the viral load is so low as to make them not able to transmit. You will not be tested again once on the ship unless you report symptoms. I was told that for my next B2B2B in a couple we will probably be tested on turn around of each leg but if we were to test positive we would be covered by the COR and considered negative.
  19. Excited to follow along. I am sure you will love getting back to sea. While I have no idea how much you enjoyed your first cruise I've noticed that the crew are really friendly and will go out of the way to make your cruise perfect.
  20. Fantastic. That sounds like a great agent. I'm sure you will enjoy your private dressing room.
  21. I've found what you described is the norm for all the cruises I've booked lately. Like others have said wait a couple days until it is fully processed in Celebrity System and then you can go in under Manager Reservation and add all the details for passenger #2. I also booked a cruise with the intent of using for my SIL and BIL. I initially had my DIL as #1 and myself as #2. 6 months later after they accepted our invitation I had my BIL replace me. I just emailed my agent and was done in a day or two.
  22. At the turn around meeting you will be given instructions. On turn around day you will have 2 options. 1. Go ashore before 9:30 and tour on your own. They will take your sea pass from you when you leave the ship. On return to the Terminal you will show a Transit Pass to get back into the Terminal and will be directed to the Transit Desk where they will check you back in and give you your new sea pass. You will not be allowed back onto the ship until general boarding begins. 2. Stay aboard and do the B2B process with all other B2B's starting around 9:30 and usually takes about 15-20 minutes. You will get your new Sea Pass at this point. You can then have free reign of the ship until general boarding begins.
  23. The only time I've received compensation for a missed port was when it occurred after the cruise began. One time on B2B day in Yokohama we were evacuated from the ship due to a typhoon and and were give a free hotel / food and 1 day of the rate you had paid as a FCC.
  24. Agree 100% - I'm starting to feel like the current vaccination prevents you from serious complications but provide minimal protection from testing positive. Just my opinion being up to date with vax and testing positive and know so many others that are up to date with 4 shots and still are getting it.
  25. They discontinued because of Covid. Usually last call is 9:30 and then they begin processing B2B's who then have free reign of the ship until General Boarding begins around 11
