I know they Solsticezied Constellation in 2010- in Hamburg- I was on the cruise right before she went into dry dock! They have done a nice job of it 9 years ago- Ocean Liners stayed untouched.

I thought they all ( Milli Class) had Tuscan Grill brought in- so I just learned they had Murano´s on board Summit instead of the Normandie Restaurant!

Normandie was replaced by Tuscan Grille on Summit several years ago. There is no Murano on Summit, nor will there be. Murano is a Normandie clone on the S class ships. As a matter of fact, if you look at the new deck plans, it appears that Tuscan will be downsized a bit to make room for more cabins.

I was speaking of the May 2017 dry dock when they took Ocean Liners out ( was probably incorrect calling it Sostilization) .  I know they remodeled the Penthouses, Royal Suites.   They also removed the Ocean Liner added some cabins etc.

I'll be onboard Summit on the 23rd - 25th March. Will try and post as many pictures as I can on my Twitter @sambulmer

It's incredible how quickly the 23rd is coming up.    Hope you have a wonderful cruise and we look forward to your pictures.

What is the point of taking away storage space and adding more decorative crap? (just what I need a coral falling on my head).  Where do they expect you to put your things?  This couldn't be another money grab to force you to pay for more laundry, could it?

Very nice pics...thank you. Great perspectives!

Truthfully not much seems changed...other than seeing the plants and  new gym equipment...Apparently, much of the upgrade will be in the decor. Can't wait to see it unfold.

I was on Summit last fall and they had already  installed a group of 4 new slot machines.  In that group there were 2 of the Harley Davidson machines.  They were located in the forward starboard section of the casino (right before the exit to the Photo Gallery).  I was pretty successful on one of them!

I was told by the Casino Host that all the machines were being replaced during dry dock and that bank of 4 new machines was a preview of the types of machines they would be installing.  So I'm guessing they will still be there after the dry dock.  The 4 machines were definitely new as I was also on the Summit in July and they were not there but they were there when I sailed in September.

Thanks for the pics.  I hope the plants and other table top decorations are not in my C3 cabin.  Need room for my stuff.  Will have steward take them away.

Nah, they're for the balcony so they can blow  off overnight and bonk  some unsuspecting passengers  enjoying romantic stargazing on a balcony below.  Or blow out  to sea along with the cushions and pillows on the suite balcony.

I've noticed more and more hotel rooms doing away with the decorative pillows - a great change (and those useless runner things at the ends of the beds).  Last thing you want on a ship where the cabins are so small, so no place to toss them, plus they are not cleaned very often so I don't even like to touch them since who knows how many people have done what to them.
