Stowaway Piano Player

Is there some sort of schedule of which ships this guy performs on?  We saw him on the Mariner last summer and he was just at Coco Cay for their opening.

Ummm, he’s part of the Royal Caribbean crew and not a performer that you can google.

If they have a schedule it's not published since it's designed to be (or appear to be) ad hoc and random.    Sometimes referred to as the "pop up piano player"  because you never know where they may pop up.

 

Several ships have them, it's not just one performer.

He was all over Symphony.  At least a hour a night just going up and down in the elevators.

I was so disappointed when we were on Symphony. I looked for him every day and never did see him. And I was pretty active covering the whole ship on most days.  Our friends finally found him on the last day.

We saw him on Symphony- didn’t realize he was on other ships too!

I’ve seen two different Stowaway Piano players on Harmony. Two different cruises, same ship.

Had one on Harmony a few weeks ago.

I've seen them on Navigator, Mariner, Harmony and Symphony.  However it's a piano on wheels, very easy to add them to any ship.

There was one on Navigator in April...not sure if he was still there. 

 

I knew there was going to be one, but forgot until I heard him in the elevator halfway thru the cruise. After that, I saw him on the Promenade almost every night.

We've seen "him" on Independence and Symphony....in an elevator both times.

 

I don't think a schedule is supposed to be known. That's the fun...you're about to enter an elevator, and there is someone playing the piano (or anywhere else he is playing).  It gives you a smile.

Just off the Mariner and he was there.  Rode the elevator with him  First time I have seen him

 Not sure why I am bothering to respond but .....

 There is a stowaway piano player on almost every cruise now. It is not a particular performer.   This person is likely a contract employee of Royal Caribbean just like other contract musicians.

I must be in the minority, I have never seen a  piano man on wheels on a cruise ship.

 

Saw many in Seattle, but not on the ship

we have seen him both time we were on Harmony. The first time we saw him numerous times, always enjoyed his performances .The second time we saw him a few times moving his piano but never did hear him play.
