kimala Posted October 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2019 What are you most looking forward to on your cruise... with ours just a little over a week away, I am looking forward to using my refreshment package and getting my fill of frozen coffee drinks. I get them instead of desert at cafe promenade! Cant wait!

TNcruising02 Posted October 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 21, 2019 Disconnecting and being able to focus 100% on the vacation. There is something about sailing away that helps me leave my worries behind. It's like when you watch a movie at a theater and can really focus on the movie as opposed to watching it home where there are constant distractions. Cruises help me really focus on my vacation for maximum enjoyment. The no cooking, no cleaning, visiting ports, and entertainment just add to the fun. To me, there is nothing more peaceful than being in the middle of the ocean and seeing water in every direction.

Mike981 Posted October 22, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 22, 2019 The look on my wife's face when she finally hits the "relaxed" state. 25 years of doing daycare, she deserves it.

lenquixote66 Posted November 3, 2019 #11 Share Posted November 3, 2019 I just returned from a 15 day cruise. On my last cruise due to disabilities I was unable to do anything on the ship and could barely get off the ship. Having had medical procedures recently I was hoping to be able to do more and I was able to.

Rare SRQbeachgirl Posted November 3, 2019 #14 Share Posted November 3, 2019 I always look forward to spending hours watching the ocean slip by, but our next cruise will be the first time we've cruised with friends, so I'm looking forward to spending time with them.

George C Posted November 4, 2019 #16 Share Posted November 4, 2019 Just relaxing with my wife and being spoiled, spending day in Caribbean sun, also not having to drive anywhere. Also entertainment and doing a little gambling.
mikenbon Posted November 5, 2019 #17 Share Posted November 5, 2019 On another, now defunct cruise forum, I became good friends with a few members. I've kept in touch daily, for about 6 yrs, with 2, and I'm finally getting to meet and cruise with one of my online besties next Feb. I can't wait to actually meet her and her family !!! Warm Breezes Posted November 11, 2019 #19 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Our next cruise isn't until next year December on the the Carnival Mardi Gras. I am looking forward to discovering a new ship with new venues, turning Platinum, and our Aft Balcony room.
SimplyMarvie Posted November 11, 2019 #20 Share Posted November 11, 2019 Sitting on our balcony (we were recently upgraded!) with a glass of wine and a book to ignore while I watch the ocean. Also, taking my turtle-mad kiddo to snorkel with sea turtles in Curacao, and all the bacon I can eat in the buffet (we live in the middle east, so we only get bacon, ham and sausage on vacation.)

I love you entire post. What a nice writer you are. AND we were in Israel a few year ago and adored it. But, wow, was I ever ready for some P. O. R. K. 🙂 No disrespect intended.
