Phew! I'd hate to see that iconic cruise line disappear into obscurity.

Shock, Horror, The Pom Cunarders, of which there are many of that breed would be necking themselves, what to do with all those dinner suits and ball gowns, lol.   They don't like being told that Cunard is owned by Carnival Corporation.  I found that out when we were on QM2.

If Cunard was to be sold, I am pretty sure they would also sell the name.

Well yes, but they would have to find a buyer prepared to carry on the Cunard tradition. It's not just the name.

A good rumour to start...QM2 is going over to P&O Australia, no dinner suits, ball gowns, jackets and ties permitted.   Footy shorts and Bonds singlets mandatory.🤣

Uncle Les I take it that Cunard is not really your glass of Scotch?

QM2, is great ship, unique, but too formal for me, jackets and ties full stop.   We were on a sector of the World Cruise in 2017, doing Sydney to HK.  Too many snobby pax on board.  I admit, I do not like dressing up and I don't like 'posh people.'1065608485_th(2).jpg.25df17f2bafb88f72b446dd7681ab16b.jpg But they did serve a full english in the Britannia Restaurant, not quite this portion though.

Full English on the buffet in Eclipse including the dastardly black pudding. I wasn't that fond of the snags though but the bacon was really good.

Anything that involves offal is out for me. No liver, no kidney in the pie, no heart and tongue is really not appealing (Mic keep your mind out of the gutter)

Last night I got notified that Pacific Dawn is on the move and is heading to Suez Canal 😮

Now that is heading towards Turkey. Is Pacific Aria still off Singapore or on the move? The two were initially sold to CMV who went bankrupt. I wonder what their fate will be?
