All this Christmas talk & I'm trying to squeeze out every last warm summer day at the beach.  😃

 

Three weeks ago, this beach would have been so crowded, you wouldn't be able to see a speck of sand.  September is my favorite summer month - temperatures are still warm, ocean water is at it's warmest, no humidity, no bugs & no crowds. Oh, and no bumper-to-bumper traffic to and from the beach and easy parking. Fingers-crossed I can get a couple more beach days in before the real summer ends.

 

 

 

I thought this sign was a joke but after a little research, sea turtles do visit Long Island in the summer months to lay eggs, primary in the bay areas,  before migrating south in November.

My daughter asked me to do some wall repair and painting, where their baby gate use to be.  I guess it is past time for it to come down.  
 

So I was there to work on the patching today.  I kept getting a lot of unsolicited help, until I moved the helper to a more comfortable spot.

I was practicing  for tonight when we run upstairs tonight for looking at the northern lights,some people captured some shots last night with their cameras but couldn't see them with the naked eye,hoping tonight will be the real show.

I have no idea how any cruisers can do a World Cruise on this class of ship for 270 days. The variety  of food on this ship just isn't enough.

We did have a nice lunch in Izumi yesterday.

 

Since now we aren't arriving in Nuuk until 10am,our Fiord Safari Boat Tour is now starting at 2;30 pm instead of 12:30 pm

All onboard is at 10pm I believe.

Yes.  My son-in-law planned everything after doing a lot of research.  My daughter planned the wedding.  He planned the honeymoon.  Worked out well for both of them.
