Royal Caribbean Cruisers -- How Are Things Where You Are? (was "Routine" 😁 day in lockdown... how was yours?)

Recommended Posts

I just have to say of all the moonshine tastes the Butter Pecan Sipping Cream is my favorite.  Cinnamon is like a hot tamale but a little too much for me.  Root Beer was good.  The Banana Cream Pie was a maybe.  Tasted good but could be a little too much after time.  My husband likes the lemonade one.

Perfect excuse to buy some new ones... Or is time of essence?

I will need to re-stock. But I can do it over time. Since we haven't been going anywhere, I didn't really make any new clothing purchases. Some of them fit, (enough for a short cruise) we are out of practice at vacationing, too. :classic_biggrin:

I'm getting off for a bit to see if I can get some decent night pictures of the ships

Did you see the Odyssey pulled in? It wasn't here very long, probably a sick person. I was going to get a picture of it next to the Apex, but it left before dinner was over.

I was disappointed that our Jan sailing was not able to make the San Juan stop.   I have never been there, hopefully will get there on a future cruise, maybe next winter for another 11 or 12 nighter.

Wow, hard to believe never been to San Juan, All our early cruises were either Western or Eastern Caribbean and all the  Eastern's seem to end up with San Juan on the itineary.

Raices has always been our go-to in San Juan.  The Kan Kan pork chop is probably in my top 5 all-time fave meals.  The crispy/fatty edge is pure heaven.

We love Raices' too! I like their shrimp mofongo.

Longing to go to San Juan!

We have been to San Juan 10 times. In 1994 we flew there ,spent 4 days touring ,then went on a cruise ,then returned for 3 days and then flew home.

My wife never needs excuses to buy new clothes, cruise or no cruise, our house is a frequent visitor of Amazon trucks 😂.

I saw it when I was having dinner but it was gone before I got onshore.

I know, hard to believe!   We have missed it 4 times on various sailings for various reasons.    Maybe I'm not meant to go there.

Missed due to weather, covid, ship malfunction and a medical emergency onboard that re-routed us.

Looks like a nice town.   Love love strawberries.

The shrimp look really good too!

Are they Hush puppies or conch fritters?

Wow.  I would of been pretty upset missing it twice but four times!  You will live it when you make it.  Maybe cruise from there.
