That stinks. I hate when seeds don't germinate. This year I was concerned with my Cherokee Purple. Half of them didn't germinate. Luckily several years ago I began to at least start twice as many seeds as I plan to plant. When most germinate I have several happy people around willing to use them. Sharon's brother helped out BIG time this year in the garden. I gave him at least as many plants as I got growing now.

We were able to plant several in grow bags and give them away. I gave 2 to my PT. She said tomatoes are starting. One is a Cherokee Purple and she said that they are her favorite tomato.

I just finished watching Baby Reindeer.The acting was brilliant especially the actress who played Martha .I can see her winning an Emmy and a BAFTA.I read about the lead actor .There is a bit of supposition that the story is not totally true and Netflix will not likely have a second season of the series.

Celebrity Captain's Club welcome party today at Eden. Drinks and canapés served. Top cruisers acknowledged. Some entertainment and acrobatics.

They don't show numbers of CC guests on a sailing, like Royal does, so I have no idea on how many at what tier. Some people I spoke to were first timer Celebrity cruisers but long time Royal cruisers.

Today is a sea day. Tomorrow is Grand Cayman.

We were both right about Howie Mandel .You were correct about Rob not making it to the end.I was rooting for Nick as we both are graduates of the same college,also for Aron because he seemed to be a very nice person and also for Rob although I never cared for him on Survivof.When I saw that he was eliminated I fast forwarded to the end of the show,I had it on DVR ,to see who won.

Today is a very sorrowful day.It is my mothers 45th.yahrseit.She passed away at age 71 from Lung Cancer.She never smoked.

At age 41 she had Breast Cancer and somehow survived,at 45 Thyroid Cancer.She was a very loving woman and everyone who knew her well loved her.

As far as the playoffs are concerned, a cynic might say it's fixed as they are trying to extend the series to make more money. I don't buy into that, I just think the real Carolina Hurricanes showed up & reminded everyone why they are the favorites to win.

And I heard the real life Martha is considering suing the producer/writer saying a lot of it is untrue. I don’t think she stands a chance but they may settle out of court.

Today we are in San Juan. We are here 7am to 2 pm. Thought they would extend our time here when they changed our next port to Puerto Plata instead of Labadee but they didn’t. Beautiful, hot day today.

I haven’t been on for a couple of days. Took everyone to Shakespeare’s Castle for Mother’s Day. My granddaughter had a goal to beat the number of deserts she ate the last time we were there, but she fell short with only four. They had reservations for 1,300 people, so it was busy.

Susan is away to have a get together with her four sisters, so I have been playing bachelor for a couple days. So much for having some relaxing time to myself. Too many things to get done t our house, as well as at my daughter’s house.

Then, as an unexpected bonus, I got to take my grandson out to dinner last night, and tonight I get to take my granddaughter out. If I were to guess, she will probably choose Thai for supper. She loves it, and it usually is not a top pick for her mom or dad.

Loving all those Japan and cruise pictures.

My mother's yarhzeit (anniversary of a loved one's death, for those not in the know) was a few weeks ago.

It looks like Captain Kate has left her 15 year old cousin in charge as captain.......Captain Leo looks like a high school kid. We have seen him previously many times, and I swear he is growing younger than when we saw him.

One time on Freedom we missed Labadee due to weather and got to spend the next day in San Juan from 7 AM to 10 PM. I thought that was a great tradeoff.

I married into a Met fan family. And while I consider myself a hard-core Yankee fan first, I am a New York fan second and always will root for the Mets. As long as it doesn't come at the expense of the Yanks. 😊 And my in-laws feel the same but in reverse.

1986 World Series is still one of the most thrilling that I've ever watched.

Does anyone know the reason for the half-day in San Juan? I've always just assumed it had to do with travel time between ports & not burning fuel racing to the next stop.

I agree, the city deserves a full day.
