Sign in to the princess website and click on Captains Circle. Click on future cruise credits and it will show casino offers and when the deadline to book is. It also shows if you have applied it to a current booking.

None of our offers show there.

Thinks of taking advantage of a great offer - mini suite, $1500 free play, Princess Plus. Anyone know if this can be applied to two cruises back to back? Are all the perks good on both, including free play?

thanks.

I have been told it is good for up to 3 cruises by the casino dept.

Question for all you experienced free cabin from the casino bookers.

I understand that Princess Casino charges a set fee for upgrading (we were offered a free inside, and as I read posts, it's a set price from the casino, not based on current market price to upgrade). Am I understanding that correctly?

And, if that's correct, do they just charge one upgrade price per category, so an upgrade to oceanview would be the same price whether it was an obstructed ocean view , a regular oceanview, or a premium oceanview, or do they break it down further into those groups (ie obstructed OV is a different price to upgrade to than a regular ov?.

Thanks so much if you can help!

this has been my experience.

say you are offered a free inside cabin

go to the cruise on the princess website and look at the categories;

inside = $799,  oceanview = $899,  balcony $1199   etc

if you want to move up to Oceanview they would charge you $200 ($100pp)

if you want to moe up to balcony you would pay $800 ($400 pp)

we are on a cruise which we received a free inside and it cost us $1200 to get a balcony

  • 1 month later...

cruised a few weeks ago. both gf and i got casino offers.  the best ones for us were the mini suite pricing. however, all the cruises are between now and april from FL or CA  because princess doensnt go out of NYC (near us) for the next few months.

with flights/hotel etc etc it's just not worth it even if i save 500 or more on the cruise.

so will we get casino offers again or are they once and done?

You can be pretty sure email and snail mail offers will follow....

We got emails three days ago

free balcony, no plus package, but $400 casino play, plus bonus $250 casino pay

few options, but we decided on one in May

luck on our side, we did not book anything and today we got another email

same offer as above, except more cruises to choose from, so now we are going to go in either June or July,   We don't want to fly anywhere, but the offers were out of San Francisco, Seattle, NYC, Florida, transatlantic, London, hawaii - many more

We already have booked January and April.

Anyone knows whether we can switch our offer to a better one after booking of a complimentary cruise via princess casino?   We booked a cruise a while back with only a small amount of free play but now the same itinerary/date is offered as a VIP cruise with 3 times the free play amount. Very tempted to switch the offer but not sure how to go about it.

I did this on Wednesday, or tried to.  Cancelled the original booking upgraded from a balcony to a mini suite with 2x the FP.  I was told I’d get back the taxes and port charges but lose the $200 NR which I expected but it was worth it to me.

The new offer was booked under the wrong promo so I ended up with half the original FP and I have been trying to get it fixed ever since. It’s a considerable amount so they need to get it right.

I was told it had to be escalated to a Supervisor which apparently means nobody is doing anything to rectify their mistake.

My only recourse is to dispute the charge but I’m really hoping they fix it.

Any changes, bookings etc have to be done through the casino department.

New bookings might be ok but for myself and others we picked a bad day to book a cruise.

@Sprocket, thanks for sharing your experience. I wouldn’t mind losing the $200pp deposit but would drat getting it book incorrectly. We had a bad experience in the past with wrong FP attached to our confirmation. Numerous calls and emails to princess casino department yielded no results. We finally contacted the carnival (parent corporation) global casino department and got their email confirmation instead. Will bring that on board, keeping our fingers crossed.  Hopefully they’ll sort out your issues soon. We had recently cancelled a princess casino cruise and it took numerous calls and a supervisor to make it happen. A little crazy.

I just got 3 different offers in the past three days. One was a prestige cruise with princess plus. I am highly considering booking even though it's limited itineraries.

Where do you see Prestige cruises?

I see that I have that offer on my list, but No details, no email or snail mail in regards to it.

Also, does anyone have best phone # for Casino offers to book?

I've got a running list & none are very good.

I got the offer by email on 10-13. It lists 9 cruises. Free Wi-Fi, grats, drink package, free play. It also says prestige benefits: special amenities and commemorative gift. You also get to choose between three packages: spa credit and dinner with host, shore experience and photo package, or cocktail event and a lower shore experience. I'm not sure if the shore experience is a credit or a specific excursion.  Has anyone been on a prestige cruise before?

Crystal, would you be so kind as to post Prestige cruises/dates?

I think I may have deleted the email with offer listing Prestige cruises, and can't figure out how

to get them?  Calling Princ casino doesn't seem to do any good.

I know dates are usually limited, so I better decide soon.  Thanks for your help.

Just returned from the 10/22 Prestige cruise to Canada/New England.

The offers for 2023 are similar, but not exactly the same.

Looks like they may have dropped the car service for 2023.  That was a really good service.

The welcome reception was very nice, they served food and you could request your own cocktails

We chose Diamonds for this trip.  Our dinner with the host was the Wine Maker's Table.  There were 2 options/dates and for ours, there were only 12 people

WRT to the excursion, you were offered 2 choices from the list of Princess tours, and you picked the one you wanted. Then you just attended the excursion with the rest of the Princess people who booked it normally.  You won't know which excursions will be available until you attend the signin function on day 1 of the trip.

We also had a private mixology session.  In our case, it was martini's in the Take 5 lounge

The gift appears to align with the Suit you choose.  Ours was a cutting board, an apron, and some cooking spices.

Overall, it was a really superb experience, much nicer perks than the VIP or Ultimate VIP trips we have been on in the past.

Thank you for the information. The car service would have been the best perk! I just booked the Prestige cruise out of Barcelona. I'll probably end up doing the spa credit package since the excursion is limited.

I did the Prestige cruise on the Crown in August.  I chose the Diamond package and we were given the Chefs Table with galley tour, signed cookbook and rose.  Excursion was a whale watching tour which was awesome.  We also got the same gift, apron, cutting board and spices.

I had the car service which was definitely not what the limo company said it would be.  I received multiple emails stating that the driver would be at baggage claim with a sign.  Nope I had to call him only to be told I had to drag my bags to his location.  Flown in and out of Seatac many times but was not familiar at all with where the pick up point was.  He didn't even get out of the vehicle which wasn't marked in any way until I was beside him.  Only time I have  not tipped a driver extra.

Going back was great, driver was amazing and happy to top up the tip.

IIRC I didn't find out about the car service until the Executive Host emailed me regarding the option to be picked up at the airport or they would pay for parking.

When do they ask you which suit pkg you want? When we booked, they said you tell them later on.
