Pitifully basic, basically pitiful

Perhaps you are not aware that the port of Boston is a real working port, in addition to accommodating cruise ships.  There is always Miami or FLL if you want to spend 10 or 15 minutes in luxury prior to boarding your cruise.

Then obviously no need for a dedicated fancy lounge..

But Celebrity is not the only cruise line using the Boston terminal. So there are many more than five cruises a year leaving from there and it’s a bit surprising that the facility is as limited as it is.

T25 in Port Everglades is the exception, not the standard. What you see here is inline with pretty much any other embarkation port, even T19 at Port Everglades.

Exactly!  And I've never spent more than 5 minutes or so in the lounge anyway.  I couldn't care less.  Much more important that they take good care of us on the ship!

I don’t really mind what it looks like.  I try to minimize the amount of time spent in the check in area. T25 is really pretty, but pretty doesn’t get me on the ship quicker.

My thoughts exactly.  It always surprises me when we checkin at the lounge, boarding has started and there are passengers in the boarding lounge sitting & drinking coffee or having a danish.

First world problems. I have never had to wait when in a suite. It’s always been straight onto the ship.

You've never had a delayed embarkation, then.  And when you do some day...

Embarkation started about an hour later than expected for our Reflection TA out of Barcelona in Fall '22.  We were happy for the upgraded lounge area there.
