Because I'm seeing it priced at $180-$200 per person on some cruises, and considering that it doesn't even include drinks at that price (unless one purchased the DBP), I'm trying to wrap my brain around that price. When you could go to Nachi Cocom or Paradise Beach and get all the drinks you want PLUS a 2-3 hour massage for the same price, I'm just trying to understand what makes the beach club at Coco Cay worth so much more money? We paid $177 per person. Yes it was expensive and from a value standpoint not as good as other deals but it was worth it to me and what’s worth something to someone may not be worth it to another. The fact that I had a beautiful pool at my disposal that wasn’t crowded like the Oasis Lagoon pool was (stay tuned for review with pics ) and multiple waiters and waitresses getting you drinks. The fact that I had custom over sized beach towels and my own beach bed. We had a fantastic steak and lobster lunch and not chicken nuggets was worth it to me. Too me having fewer people and great service was the deciding factor for me. It may not be for everyone but I’m glad I purchased it on this day. I've only had problems with crowding in the Oasis Lagoon pool right in front of the swim up bar, where the DJ is set up. Other areas of the pool have lots of space between people. I'm curious to see what the 'adults only' beach is like on Coco Cay (and if Royal is going to charge admission, or if it will be free). Time will tell!

(Tonsillectomies are barbaric as surgeries go, IMO -- I've had knee surgeries, appendectomy (open, back in the olden days before laparoscopies were around), oral surgeries, and a c-section.... the tonsillectomy surgery lasted all of ten minutes from start to finish, but was the absolute worst to recover from!). Anything that sounds/feels good would be fine as far as hydration, they just recommend avoiding anything red, so you can tell if there are bleeding issues. Stock up on popsicles, puddings, jello, ice cream/sherbet, yogurt, soups... anything soft and wet! 4

It's kinda hidden on their website.... it used to be up front, but now you have to go searching for it. They are also now only offering pay-as-you-go if they haven't sold enough all-inclusives for that day. It used to always be an option.
Rare bobmacliberty Posted September 24, 2022 #72133 Share Posted September 24, 2022 Finally tried my first rum old fashioned. It's such a spiritual time with all the floral and wildlife rebirthing. It's truly God's gift to us and your pictures reflect this. On the other hand, we are moving into autumn. Leaves are turning and birds are flocking for their long flights before winter sets. Nature is incredible!
sgmn Posted September 24, 2022 #72140 Share Posted September 24, 2022 (edited) I'm way behind, hope to catch up on the long drive home tomorrow, but I thought I would post a few pics from our Cornish holiday. We only booked for four nights but trying to pack in as much as possible. We are staying in a small cottage in a village called Veryan. My mum went to her first school here and we think my grandfather is buried in the local church yard though can't find a grave. It's a lovely little village with a pub about 10 min walk which does great food. On Thursday we met up with my cousins in Mevagissey, a fishing village. Our uncle was a fisherman there and we had a bench in the harbour in his memory and always meet for a cup of tea there when we are down . Yesterday we had a coastal hike from Pendower to Portscatho. It isn't that far but hard work following the coastal path. Beautiful weather and there was a lovely beach at the end with a great beach cafe for lunch . Today we hope to go to Perranporth where my grandmother lived and where we always had our summer holidays as children Mevagissey Coastal hike Edited September 24, 2022 by sgmn

We loved it and never moved on to try any of the others, mainly because they were the only one that had a pay-as-you-go option instead of A.I., which is better for us. It has never been crowded when we've been there, but I'm sure that depends on how many ships are in port. The food is really good at Paradise. I too like Paradise Beach. We have been many times and they have been crowded some of those times, but it is pretty big. By far THE cleansest bathrooms in Cozumel. I like Nachi Cocum too.
