Not sure I want to ask but I will.  How does an Adult pack up a stool sample?

I have taken cat stools to the vet and usually scoop from litter box and place in a zip lock bag then double bag it.

Could stretch cling wrap/foil across toilet seat, or wear glove to catch some, or use plastic food leftover container, etc. etc. No biggie. One doctor told me, when I had a sick foster child, to get the sample to the lab pretty soon. The child had giardia. There's a plastic "hat" that can be provided also.

A cold, wet weekend for us.  Saturday, we went to our grandson’s football game.  They are now 1-1 on the season, with this as their first win.

After the game, we traveled to Applefest.  Surprised that this little town of about 8,000 packs in about 100,000 for their 3 day festival.  We missed the rain while there.

The have a couple of parks that were filled with craft vendors and festival food.

This is a place that attracted me.  They were giving out free samples of vodka, rum, whisky, bourbon, etc.

More rain when we returned home, but we were rewarded on our walk with a nice rainbow

That is a wonderful rainbow picture!  So crisp and defined colors!  Thanks for sharing.

We’re sitting at the Barcelona airport waiting for our flight.  I just had a 10 am croissant and this to calm my pre-flight jitters.

We loved our Sagrada Familia tour yesterday. It was about an hour and 20 minutes with a good guide, then we could stay until closing if we chose to.  I think it was @bobmacliberty who mentioned going in the late afternoon when the sun starts to set.  This was an excellent piece of advice.  Sagrada is amazing on its own, but the late afternoon sun through the stained glass created beautiful reflections.

Next stop Chicago, then on to Philly. We’ll spend the night at our daughters and drive home tomorrow.

Deb, I am so glad you enjoyed the Sagrada!  I have a similar picture, but on the other side of the sunrise, so it is blue and green.  Safe travels home!

7 days after my last radiation treatment, the throat swelling went down and I had my first food that I swallowed. And I can talk again.

Throat is still pretty sore.

Things look positive for Oct 14 sail date.

This is amazing news.

Happy Thanksgiving my friend! The meal looks fantastic. Ever tried egg noodles on top of the mash potatoes and gravy? It's so good.

Happy Thanksgiving, Canadian friends! 🦃🍁

Thank you.  As an expat days like today always make me a little nostalgic and miss home. I'm going to find a place to make me a turkey dinner tonight.  DW is away for a few days so I'm flying solo.  🇨🇦  Hockey season starts tomorrow.  Canucks first game is Wednesday.  Watching keeps me connected to home.  It's depressing because it's been over a decade since we had any prospect for success but it's still home in my heart.

No, I’ve never tried that before. I don’t think Sharon would ever allow this to happen in her house, but I will mention it to her when I see her next.

Looks great, but watch out...if you're not careful, those peas will get in your mouth.

(When I was about 10, my mom and dad made me sit at the dinner table for hours after dinner because I wouldn't eat 3....yes 3....peas on my plate.  They finally gave up.  To this day I haven't gotten over it and I'll still pick peas out of soups, casseroles, and fried rice.)

My parents tried that same strategy ONCE, but it was with three slices of tomato. 😃 Mine gave up also.

My favorite use for turkey leftovers is turkey and noodles served over mashed potatoes.  I think it must be a midwestern thing.  Both Dave and I are from Indiana and grew up eating this.  When we moved south people were appalled that we would eat it.  It’s my definition of comfort food.  Unlike my mom, I don’t make my own noodles, I buy Reames frozen ones.

Happy Thanksgiving to all Canadians.

Andrew those bread rolls look yummy 😋

Thanksgiving isn't celebrated in the UK, but we do have Harvest Festival services in church. But not the big family get-together you have on your side of the pond

I asked Sharon when I saw her this afternoon and she looked at me like I had a hole in my head.

She then asked if the noodles would be cooked or raw, and I said “I have no idea”.

Now Sharon asks, how would one do this?

I use Reames too. Easy and oh so good. Not low calorie but great comfort food.

I use Reames frozen egg noodles. Boil in water or chicken broth and then spoon over mashed potatoes and gravy. It's so good.

I notice everyone has a glass a milk, what's in the wine glasses? Apple juice?
