I didn't know that the Iowa was opened up. Years ago a friend of mine was a corpsman on her. I got to spend a day aboard with him exploring the ship. It was a great day. She was tied up here in Newport RI after her decommissioning for awhile. Quite an impressive ship.

I already said we are redoing on of our three bathrooms ( I still don’t understand why) it is only used maybe a couple of weeks out of the year, our master bedroom was done a decade ago , we removed the tub for a huge double shower, wondering what your thoughts are , I am insisting we still have one bathroom with a tub for resale, third bathroom just has a shower. 

Prior to my present career as a Manager of an Alarm / Security company Eric and I worked in the Real Estate biz for 25+ yrs and YES you want to keep one bathroom with a tub for resale.

I went outside between 10 / 1030 with my phone and didn't see them.   Eric got up around 1 am for bathroom trip and looked out the back door and saw a little but didn't have his phone.

Great Northern Light photos from everyone.  Tried to see them, but there was too much light pollution.  
 

We were at, what would be our grandson’s last baseball game of the season. They lost.  He pitched a couple innings and did well.  This pitcher on the opposing team had a nice fastball.  
 

 

Sunday’s game went extra innings and they came away with a 2-1 win, and they had a blowout win Tuesday night.  Too bad they couldn’t keep their streak alive, but this was the top team they faced.  
 

Now it is just football weekends, so our schedule will not be as busy.

Everyone’s photos of the northern lights looked great. We didn’t get the same pink hews as in the spring.  
 

Living in the same place since birth, I have not seen them until this year.  It was amazing to see them 3 nights since the spring. Owen laughed last night, on night 3, that this is a once in a life time experience. Kids these days I tell ya.😉

My opinion is to keep at least one bathroom with a tub.

I'm far from a real estate expert, but I agree with leaving the tub.  We remodeled our master bath in Cincinnati several years ago.  It had a large corner tub with jets and a relatively small shower...less than 4 feet square.  I wanted to completely remove the tub and put in a huge shower area.  Micheline wanted to keep a tub, even though we had a tub in the other upstairs bathroom.  We compromised by squeezing in a deeper but smaller soaking tub.  When we moved, we asked our realtor if it was a smart move keeping a tub in the master bath and she said definitely yes, even though the new shower was a nice selling point.  You absolutely need at least one tub if you want a family with kids to consider buying the house.

I’ve never been on a Navy battleship before so we decided it would be great to tour. There is the Queen Mary there to tour also. We may save that for a later date.

It's funny how our cruises have worked out.  With having a set week at Christmas and again at March break we went for several years where all we did was Western itineraries and now I have nothing but Eastern booked.  There may be a 3 year gap without a Western itinerary.

If you are ever near Mobile Alabama the Alabama is open to the public.  There are also some planes and subs.  Plan on several hours.

We have actually only done the Western once and very much enjoyed. However, for some reason I just prefer the Eastern and Southern.

In all my cruises Bella 3 will be my first Southern to Aruba and Curacao.  Those 8 day itineraries don't work well for cruising at March break and are even crazier prices at Christmas

Beautiful northern lights pics, thanks all for sharing.  My daughter was able to see them in DC, we got a slight pink hue with a long exposure shot with the phone but couldn't see anything here.

 

As for tubs definitely keep one.  While we do like where we live there is a different floor plan in the community I would prefer.  One of those recently went up for sale so went to take a look.  It has dual master suites, the primary with huge tub and shower very nicely done, but in the second they took the shower out completely and out in a huge jetted tub, don't get that at all.  Lots of other crazy updates throughout the house, too many to try to fix.  Realtor said the bath updates in the 2nd master were turning everyone off.  Most houses selling very quick in our community for top dollar, took that one almost 4 months to go under contract after a few nice price drops.  Only make those odd updates if you don't care about resale.

Ok I just went and took pictures of MY casino lucky machine. @Lionesssor someone are you around. I did learn credits are calculated off your $$$. So at 2 cents, its showing me half of the dollars I think. The other man said press credits to see dollars. I still dont see how much each bet is. It shows rows and multipliers and how many credits I'm betting, not how much cash. So I'm supposed to figure double each credit is dollars bet? I took pictures and dont see dollars. It's a old machine but was lucky. I won free games and money. I'll go back to that one. But it would be nice to know what amount im betting. Note where it says 450 bet...above says CREDITS. Not $$$. Everything is shown in credits. Which at 2 cents means double?

I wouldn’t be putting money in a slot machine before I understood how it works . If you are playing a quarter machine and put in $100 it will show 400 credits .  So , divide the credits by 4 to get the dollar wins . That machine is quite complicated for me anyway with line multipliers .  Sue has posted a very extensive explanation way back and is more knowledgeable .

For those who can possibly help:  I'm having problems with my Android phone.  For the past 5 years, 4 of my friends and I have been group texting every morning with images, wishing each other a good day.  All of a sudden I can't send texts with images/pictures to anyone with an iPhone. I can still individually, not group text iPhone users but with no images.  Android users still receive my texts with pictures. I went to two Metro by T-Mobile stores without luck. Nobody could help.  I was told it's an iPhone issue which can't be true since 2 friends have iPhones and they get group texts/images from other Android users.  Weird, no?

Did a next cruise booking yesterday and because I'm dp340 he had to add the $50 by hand and said he woukd email final today. Some girl says takes miami 48 hours. Tomorrow is turn around. I will wait and remind him. He did t even print me a copy of the booking had to run do the crew drill. It's not like I have to be somewhere. I'll wait. Today it's very busy here. Everyone waited for last day and  next cruise is hopping. Just wanted to remind him since he didnt have time to print me off a copy.

Well, I guess the we's are from we did family cruises and the I's are more recent. Since I'm the only one still in love with it I either give it up or cruise solo. I have no problem doing whatever I feel like solo on a cruise.
