@Sunshine3601I know you asked on the live thread but I hope no one minds me answering her.  We discussed it here a week or so ago. I cash out the OBC a while ago.  You would think a retired CPA/Auditor would not get so confused when it came to handling cash accounts but it was the first time with a slot machine. After figuring out how to transfer cash from my account to the casino I transferred the max $500. The problem I couldn't see anything showing it worked. I hit a couple buttons and the next thing I was signed out.  So I repeat and then this time I hit the casino button. It now shows I transferred $1,000! I did a spin and lost.  I had no idea how much.  I thought, I have no idea what is going out, found a cash out button and hit it. After cashing out I checked my app about 10 minutes later and still had my OBC.  It finally was credited out and no 5% charge. BTW, I lost $9.40.

That's good you got the cash out. 😎   I'm a slot player and always get messed up with the process.

That's good to hear you didnt get charged a 5% fee that some others have been charged.

I was hoping you were going to say you won🤪

Loving your review.  Cannot wait to hear how you do at waterslide tomorrow.

Our electrician was here a month ago, so everything was ready and waiting.  It was up to temperature when we got back from dinner, so we got to try it out for a little, before the rain storm came.

Beautiful.  I guess the container ship with hot tubs arrived at a port😎

Debbie, you are amazing!  After you and Eric got so much painting done today, you then went and cooked a stir fry and noodles?  I would've ordered take out and delivery...

I realize now I had a typo I got done painting all the trim on 2nd floor.

We are not starting main floor till completely done the 2nd flr.

There arent many restaurants on the island that do delivery, especially off season.

I like to cook and stir fry is easy.

Definitely will get out to eat this weekend when most places will be open.

Asked for medium, but there was ALOT of Pink, it was so tender I think it was cooked Medium Rare. After 1 bite no way was it going back, Yum Yum !

Last night we went to our favorite upscale restaurant, that has live music , my wife ordered the special which was a 6 once filet with a fried lobster tail, we also were drinking caymus cab since it was half price wine night , when they brought out her steak it was a filet but bone in and 16 ounces , manager didn’t think we minded the change , I rarely order fish but had a very nice sea bass.

It's been a great day today. Hot Tub finally arrived ! It's been a long time coming.

This was a replacement for canceled cruises the last year and half. 🙂

WE got our negative tests for Saturday on Odyssey. Palm Beach County  has drive up testing sites, one is less than 1 mile from  our house.  No line.   We'll be B2B.

Hopefully, we will see our big OBC  when we get on.

Welcome to the Odyssey. I’m interested in hearing what you think of her.

Beautiful sunset tonight over the Fernandina Beach marina. We think that’s a Santa Maria replica ship/museum that tours from place to place.

That’s stunning. I would have it printed and framed.

Chilean Sea Bass is delicious.

Fried lobster tail?  Never heard of it.

I think the last time Jack had an alcoholic beverage,  was before we were married.

I'm the "drinker" in the family.  I usually have a glass of wine every month or so.😉

Moscato, Reisling or White Zin.

Our friend makes fabulous margaritas.  Love his, didn't like the ones I ordered in different restaurants.

Miami Vice is my drink of choice on cruises.  Last time I had one was on our last cruise in 2018 I went overboard (forgive the pun) and had 1 each night. ☺️

Owen had his last hockey exhibition game last night an hour from home. It ended up being tied 1-1 with an assist.  He got an elbow to the head that wasn’t called by a player on the opposite team. Same player was rough all game but got one elbowing penalty. He got hit by one of our players in the last period with a clean hit and didn’t play the rest of the game from being gassed. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

It is the first year of contact hockey this year.  On our 2nd exhibition game we had a player with a broken arm, exhibition game three an opposition team player had a broken clavicle and arm.  None of us know what play it was, but I wonder if he laid a hit wrong or went missed a hit into the boards shoulder first.  I suspect the rough player last night was under concussion protocol and will have a few days off time home.

Today starts with a math test first thing and then off for the first football of the year at 9am. Owen has been named the team kicker, so long as he can do a good job of it.

Should be an interesting season for you.  Hoping that Owen makes it through unscathed.  Tis better to give than to receive.

@Jimbo.  Just got back from breakfast at Mustache Bill's Diner.   I had short stack of pancakes and side of pork roll...yummy.

Have you found anywhere serving pork roll yet?

The diner closes for winter this sunday so will probably go back sunday morning as I love their home fries.

Time for a bike ride to work off that breakfast then back to painting.

Our neighbors want to go to Terrace Tavern for happy hour and diner tonight.

Guess I'll make the turkey breast another day, suppose to get some rain this weekend.

Good Morning,

We are in Florida. Will drive to FLL today and stay the night.

Hope today is a good day for all.  Prayers and best wishes are on their way to those who need them....LOL....EVERYONE needs them these days in small and big ways.

Lenny, Marietta, hoping you hear good news soon.

Sunshine, have a wonderful time at your shore house. I have been wanting to paint our house too but cruising and rainy dayexcuses keep getting in the way.

I was looking at Odyssey for the end of January but ended up booking Allure instead.

Spending two different B2Bs on Sister Harmony in Nov. through to January.   Wanted a change of ship type.  😉

I agree. I have been saying, it is better to be hit than to be hit.

So long as they are clean ones.

The RX that the doctor wants her to take is normally something that she cannot take. She called her Hematologist and he said she can take it but for no longer than 2 weeks.

Thank you for everything.

How is your finger doing?  Hopefully it was minor...but indeed sounded scary to wake up to!  😮

Beautiful!!  Great picture!!  Looks a lot like the one in St. Augustine!   Those owners also have a smaller boat with "pirates" that "attack" them.  Arrgg...me Maties!  They were able to fight them off...cannons blazing!  😄

The one in St. Augustine makes for a great show.  We did not go on it,  just next to it on a sunset sail boat tour.  Those owners told us about it....plus we stayed at the Bayfront Wescott B&B next door, with a balcony looking out over that area of the harbor.  Watched the show from there as well.

Great time...one of the best B&Bs we have ever stayed at...highly recommend!
