So having some fun last night with more AI Art. Doing some more Sea Dogs. This one is a Cavalier King Charles one. Not sure if I want to use this one?

I may just this one for one of my avatars or maybe alternate. Thoughts?

They are both cool but I really like the eyes in the top one and it seems to have a bit of a Caribbean vibe to it

Good instincts Debbie.   She was one that was supposed to eat one but at the time she was at her 27th week appointment.   They decided to induce.  They just now gave her an epidural to help with the pain.  Please all, send those prayers for my baby to safely have her baby!

I am glad I read this.... I was WAY off.  37th not 27th.

She is having it hopefully today.  Yesterday was the 37th week but they were not letting her go past the 39th week.  I just tried to edit but to late.

Glad to see the correction but still always a long day, Prayers and best wishes to the family.

My nephew was born 18 years ago around the 30th week.  He was 1 lb 13 Oz, he is now happy, healthy and getting ready for his 1st year in college.

Thanks.  My daughter having the baby was born around the 35th week.  She spent a couple weeks in the Children's Hospital.  Sharon had fallen a couple days earlier and after having the baby she had to remain in a different hospital for a week.  It was a long week for her.

I have had concerns for this one since we found out about my DD's high blood pressure and diabetes.   Then last night there was other concerns.  This has been a long morning.

Thankful to hear all went well with your nephew.

No  problem, on that next road trip save time for the Virginia Safari Park. Even if you just do the drive thru it is well worth it seeing all the different kinds of animals they have and being so close to them is amazing.... Some the Caverns are nearby to that too.

Natural Bridge, Va.  is a must see also.

https://naturalbridgeva.com/things-to-do-natural-bridge-va/

So how far North did you get tonight before resting for the night?

In Bristol, Va..........did you get a chance to see the New "Hard Rock Casino"? Just opened last month.(July)

Made it home to NY last night, around 11 pm. My earlier reply to you was during a rest break & driver change in Maryland.

Thank you for the tips. I remember visiting the Natural Bridge and some of the caves as a kid during family vacations, driving along the Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge Parkways. I'd love to visit them as an adult now too.  Along with some of the wineries. And I did notice the billboard for Hard Rock Casino and I thought, funny, I don't remember seeing that before, either on the way down end of July or last December when I had stop in Bristol, VA on a similar drive to Texas. It just opened last week in July. I thought the billboard was literally put up while I was in TX. I do love casinos!

Our original plan was to take a relaxed-paced drive back, hitting a few tourist spots along the way. But it took a few days longer than expected to tie-up all the loose ends in Houston so, other than a quick stop in Memphis TN, it was straight driving back as we had other commitments for today.  But we are already plotting a return tip to VA to see all the things we missed this time around.

Tag said I bought Jalapeno Peppers, but you know how some people move the name tags in those trays of vegetables when you buy them, never really know what you are getting.

Picked corn from our garden to freeze into bags this afternoon.

Our 13 year old grandson has been playing the flute in the school band for 3 years.  Both he and our 11 year old grandson, William, who played the trumpet this past year, participated in the Band Enrichment Program camp one day a week for the past 6 weeks, which culminated in a concert for parents and grandparents this morning.  Ryan, the 13 year old, decided he wanted to start playing the clarinet, and did so well, that on the second week of band, he was approached and asked to join the High School Marching Band.  He has been practicing with the Marching Band for the past two weeks now, and will begin Marching Band Camp all of next week.   He will be entering 8th grade next month.  The Jr. High band teacher asked Ryan if he'd play the trumpet for his school band, and he readily agreed.  Ryan left the school after today's concert, carrying his clarinet, as well as the trumpet the teacher lent him.  He amazes me!  I hear him playing the trumpet right now, even as I'm sitting here writing to you.

Great job by both your grandsons, with special mention of Ryan being asked to join the high school band!  I took lessons & played piano for many years.  I lost interest in high school, thinking it wasn’t “cool”, and I regret that now.  My oldest started on flute in elementary school, then moved on to clarinet and eventually saxophone in high school.  Middle DD played clarinet and was in her HS marching band. Youngest had zero interest.  My two oldest grandsons play clarinet and violin.  I think music is great for kids.

I agree with OB, the top one is more Caribbean, maybe it’s the sea in the background.

Great looking vegetables!  I think we all wish we were close enough to stop by your farmers market.

Busy weekend and days ahead.  We have our two granddaughters for the weekend (along with the dog) while DD & SIL go to a wedding in Portland ME.  All while trying to pack and get ready for our road trip to Disney with two grandsons.  We leave Monday for PA, overnight at their house and then hit the road to FL Tuesday morning.  Some days and weeks it seems like there’s nothing going on and then BAM, everything happens at once!

Graham- Was your dessert Sticky Toffee Pudding? I had that dessert at the Waterlot Inn in Bermuda- yummmy!

It is not featured here in restaurants- unfortunately !

MJ🙋🏻

I was just going to ask that too!

I LOVE sticky toffee pudding. HAL (Cuba cruise) had it in their dining room and I RAVED about it so much to the waiter that they brought it for us every time we were in the mdr after that. I was literally killed with it. I got a little sick of it in the end 🤣but I truly very much appreciated that they gave it this much thought.

Bermuda cafes have it. And I saw a kit from Williams Sonoma (at local mall) once and brought it home....disaster 🤪but that was my fault not the kit's.

Yesterday was the 27th week.  Because she has gestational diabetes and high blood pressure the plan was to deliver the baby on the 29th week.  I hope your birthday is today because I want to see that baby born soon!

My girls were born at 29 weeks. So excited for all of you!
