One wonders why they would publish this dated information when the Apex has already moved on. It seems that CC members are more up to date than the Captains Club!

Sounds positive!

Yes since Ponta Delgada is usually the first stop after a TA. My sense is that it's going to sail to FL very soon. I'm scheduled for November 14th but have no desire to sail that date. Just waiting to see what the whole story is. It's a casino comped cruise so we've only paid Port Fees and taxes which always are refunded if you don't sail.

That's what I was thinking. Apex's been there- done that.

Where is she sailing over the winter?  My husband and I are booked on her when she moves to the Mediterranean for her summer cruises in 2021, so I'm following where she's going until then!

Her scheduled Winter Caribbean cruises are on the X website.

Due to the situation with the Pandemic, everything is subject to change, of course.

Yeah, I've been looking there, but was wondering if anyone was actually booked on anything that was sailing for certain.  I guess I just like the first-hand accounts - there's only so much you can get off of the main website! 🙂

I have B2B2B2B, (4 - 7 day cruises for a total of 28 days)   booked for 2022.  I am positive those cruises will happen. 🤗

happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Apex is due to arrive at Ponta Delgada at 9.00am local time on 3 October.

According to a report on Social Media, from a TA , Apex will be making for the Bahamas after Ponta Delgada, where she will stay for a few days. She will then make her way to Fort Lauderdale, arriving on October 26th.

Not sure why she is taking so long.

We have a B2B booked on Apex for April 2021 and I believe we will sail.

Since she hasn’t sailed with paying passengers yet, there aren’t any first hand accounts.

The good news is Apex is on her way to Florida.

Now we just have to stay tuned. 😊

Because the Captain's Club magazine is a glossy publication that has to go to print and can never be truly up to date (or indeed sometimes, correct). You do the best thing coming here for information. It's what I do.  Booked on Apex next  October and hoping I can be on the ship then.

I'm booked on her 2/13/21 cruise and as of now per my TA it is a go as-scheduled.

Maybe things are different in the UK, but here the Captains Club "From the Bridge" newsletter isn't a printed glossy publication. Rather, it's a monthly email with links to each of its stories, a format that makes it very easy to keep up to date.

Yes. Not the same thing, but if you expect any official publication from Captain's Club that has probably been through proof reads and sign offs to be truly up to date then you are expecting too much. It's always been like this.

Arrival dates sem to  work with the lifting of CDC no sail order,  must be a zillion things that have to be arranged before sailing from any port that was closed for so long!  Many eyes will be on Celeb, Apex and the port...

She is on her way across the pond for sure.  I wonder if she has a full crew compliment?  If so I’m guessing she will be one of the very first ships to start cruising *if* the CDC no-sail order is not extended beyond October.
