I have to agree with you - especially about the cookies. I wish I could opt out of this becaue we never eat them and they go in the trash. It's such a waste. They are always hard and dried up and if I want a  cookie I will go get a fresh one.

Good news, we are on Serenade this week and so far no cookies.😇

Is the toiletry bag a new item?  Haven't seen it before.

I don't know what the current toiletry bags look like, but we received this one on Jewel in 2004. It's wonderful as you can hang it on the door handle.

Hmmm. Did anyone think it was really going to be better?  The DH will not miss his 2 beers.  More no name water.

Sorry but those blocks are not pretty.  The clear ones are classy.  I’ll have to hid these in the spare bedroom.  I do realize they changed suppliers and am at least happy they didn’t do away with the program.  I love that’ll leave something for the kids to fight over when we’re gone.  Lol.  (Add sarcasm here.)

Fingers crossed no more stale cookies.

The best part about the loyalty program are the free drinks. I’ll not complain. 5 free drinks a day and a couple of bottles of wine ( soon to be 3) and we are happy.  As long as they don’t mess with our 2 free internet days, our bag of laundry and our picture we are good.

I would like to see their definition of "more water" instead of the beverage choice.  Lately, they have been leaving a bunch of water bottles and our beverage choices.

I just called C&A because we needed to ensure we will be getting the 6-pack of Coke Zero instead of the Diet Coke, and changed our second amenity to the tote bag. Does anyone here have the tote bag ( can you post a photo, please?) or knows if it will be totally new? We have tote bags won as trivia prizes, don’t know if they are the same thing.

Funny -we’re scheduled for a B2B on the Allure starting this Sunday. We may have the old amenities (2 sodas) as part of the welcome gifts for the first cruise, and more water for the one starting March 12. BTW, the rep I spoke with said that each C& A member will receive 3 bottles of water, so I expect to see 6 on March 12. Not a problem for me- I guzzle a lot of water at night, lol.

Good to know about the 3 waters each.  I always order a 12 pack a week so that should be plenty.

The updated list says 2 bottles for emerald and diamond and 3 bottles for D+ and Pinnacle.

Getting those extra bottles of water will make a few less trips to the casino bar, where Prime members can get them for free. With the 5 daily drink vouchers and the free sodas from being Prime, and the extra 6 pack from the amenities list, we’re not going to miss the 2 cans of soda too badly, lol.

Oops, maybe the rep was referring to 3 each for us, since we’re Diamond +. Thanks for posting the updated list- I hadn’t seen it yet.

I have Diet Coke selected as my choice. Sunday on Oasis I had a single Diet Coke and a random number (3-4) bottles of water.  So it seems like they were already giving you whatever they wanted to, just like with the amenity gifts that are out of stock.

You get the block on the cruise where you hit the number. Doesn’t matter if it is the first day or the last day. Given recent history, you will actually get the block in the mail anywhere from two to six months after you sail. Just received a Mariner block last week for a cruise that earned it last October

Good to know! We are still waiting on our crystal block from Mariner last October, so maybe "it's in the mail". LOL!

If anyone gets the new toiletry bag, could you post a picture and the dimensions?  My husband needs a new bag, but want to make sure it is as big as he has now.

Also, if anyone gets the new totes, can you post a picture of that also?

Thanks so much!!

Looks like a photo embedded in crystal.  definitely gone cheaper

I'm holding judgements until I see them.

On the bright side, it's something new to hunt.

I pretty much have the full set of originals

See my post above. Unless they have crystal blocks onboard you fill out a form to have it mailed. I saild b2b last dec on allure. I just called today and she said due to back logs it might be sent out the end of april, could be later.

If you hit the next 140 plus 70 etc on a cruise that's the block. The ship you were on where you hit the pts.

On my Anthem February 4th sail got a form that asks if you want the block or not.  Maybe since they had blocks on board there was no option to have it mailed.

One more reason we have started booking with other lines.  It's "new and improved" cut back, after cut back, etc.   None of it to benefit we the loyal cruisers...only to save RCI $$ for itself.

Just booked another Viking cruise a few minutes ago.  RCI cancelled two of my Australia cruises, Viking now picks up that business.
