I thought it was totally amazing, really want to cruise Hawaii again.

May 2, on Ovation!  come join us.

Last summer, while visiting Hilton Head, we went on a dolphin watch.  They were very active.  We had one swim at us and it looked like a missile.  When it got to the boat it went under us then popped up on the other side.  we had fun.

Apparently everyone in RI decided to take the day off and go to the beach. Today truly is a day sent from heaven.

Is this the area you usually take the pics you post?  I don't remember seeing it this crowded.  Looks like summer is about to start.  I wouldn't mind being on the beach but I bet I would not go into the water yet.

Same place. A few people testing the water.

Thanks, aussie. I've started today, seeing that DH is much better and after the almost 10 days Passover holiday, when everything is at standstill.

It's quite a nightmare. I've booked this trip last October, the flight between Marrakech and Madrid was a mere 62$ pp. Now, the cheapest one is 250$ pp !!! Same with the Madrid hotel -- 180 Euro v. 454 Euro now....

The excellent riad [room] I've booked in Marrakech is fully booked. Found another, hopefully it will be up to standard.

Our flights were booked with the national company, which doesn't fly from Friday afternoon until late Saturday night. We have to "work" around this limit....

They gave us the option to re-schedule, and to apply the actual rates on top of what we've paid. I didn't want to add so much, and I've managed to find one flight at the original rates. This one and only date impacted the other dates/hotels. The visa also expires in August.

The good season to visit is March-May or Sep/Oct and I want to do it NOW....

Sometimes you want a vacation, others, you desperately need one.
With me, it’s almost always need!

We went to Singing Beach in Manchester by the Sea Tuesday. Water temperature was 45 degrees. We walked the beach in the edge of the water. Cold but wonderful.

My daughter and family who are on their mini vacation went to the Cinncinatti Zoo earlier today.

Prior to my father getting married the only place he traveled to on vacation was Cincinnati.

I hope they enjoyed it and got to see Fiona and Fritz.  It's a great zoo.

If they're looking for other things to do, the Cincinnati Museum Center is also great.

@dani negreanu I’m glad to hear your DH is feeling better and hope you can now reschedule your trip. By the way, I sent you a message on What’sApp ( Helen shared your number.) I’m not sure I sent it correctly. If Helen gave you my number, would you please message me when you can?
@aussielozzie18 sorry you’ve come down with C19, hope you have a mild case.
It looks like we’ll be going to Disney again the 1st weekend in January. All three girls successfully entered to run the marathon on January 7th.  They’ve done half marathons before but this is the first full one so we want to be there to cheer them on.
As OB posted (along with his foot pics), the weather has been freakishly hot these past two days.  This was today on my way home from the grocery store around 1:30 pm. DF1D97A3-10BA-4B38-AA64-E5527D50F2FE.thumb.jpeg.df8965edbda19d6d3313c0697455f809.jpeg

Wednesday was 8 months old.  Time flys.  We, mostly Sharon, have been babysitting her weekdays since the beginning of the year while DD works.  I know that it is hard to leave pets behind while cruising but starting Monday we will not be babysitting for a month!  Finnly's DD will be off the next two weeks then we leave for Hawaii for the two weeks.  I bet she will grow in that time.

Let me know what you pick, we need a new automatic pool cleaner . We have a weekly service but need more.

Had a nice dinner with friends at a Italian restaurant, weird thing is almost every Italian restaurant in Dallas is not run by or have a chef that is Italian, most are Albanian , we have been looking for a real Italian one , our friend who is 100 percent Sicilian and closed his restaurant after 30 years found this one.

Can you post the name of the restaurant?  We love Italian food.

Late Breakfast at the diner this morning.  Along with the  Bacon, ham, sausage & cheese omelet,  I noticed I could get a "side order" of grits.  I put "side order" in quotes since it's almost as big as the main order.

Little pasty at first but after a few globs of butter and some salt&pepper, quite tasty.

Maybe not the healthiest of choices but I'll have a house salad later to balance it out. 😋

Rockland County/NJ diners are the best!!  I'm not surprised at the portion size you were served.

I didn’t get a chance to comment on your prior post.  Your doctor sounds like a wonderful human and very caring man.

I never seen grits before and for some reason, I thought they would be brown.
