The British Sausage Company now sells a Welsh sausage, with leeks and lots of pepper in it. Very yummy. Coles usually sells this brand but not always all their different varieties.

I prefer my sausage not to leak

Yes tried them, good. Same company makes a few other varieties, Lincolnshire Sausages etc.

Yes, the Lincolnshire are our second favourites at the moment. The Cumberland ones are good too. They seem to change the varieties every few years. I used to like their Irish ones but haven't seen those for ages.

Snapped up some Tasmanian apple and pork sausages at Fyshwick Markets (Canberra) this morning.  They are always delicious 😋

I would have thought Cardiff bakery would be selling pies with genuine meat from Wales in them..

There is a supply problem there  …they stopped whaling years ago so no meat from “Wales” available.

Well apart from the Orcas and the Bears, and the scenery, I've just found another good reason to Visit Vancouver Island. Just need a good Lotto win.

Happy Birthday for Tuesday - still hoping to catch up with you downunder one day 🙂

We are hoping to make that trip in 2024. With any luck we can sell our place and find something smaller that we like and come out mortgage free with a few dollars left over to travel with.

Make sure you let me know if you make it to our island. I'll stand you a pint and show you around.

Thank you Leigh.  Are you still in Cairns?  I’ll drop you an email tomorrow😊

No Linda, home now.😪 We had a wonderful time and were sorry to have to come home to a Melbourne winter. Although today it reached 18 but dropped rapidly as the cold change and rain came in. Look forward to hearing from you.

Here is a different question for well dressed around town.

I have received an invitation to a niece’s wedding all good so far.

The wedding and reception will be held at a farm that has reception facilities. Looks nice. It is near Margaret River,, beautiful. Outside wedding, inside reception.

Date is mid-January. Hmmmm, could be a touch warm. Dress code is listed as formal.

Hi

So, should I be flying across the country with my Cunard uniform?.  Is it my be black thongs and Stubbies? Something in between?

It seems today Formal can mean almost anything, t9 me it is Dinner Suit, to s9m3 it seems to mean Jeans without rips. I’d go a suit in the case you outline.

Many, many, many years ago I got married, Mrs G was shocked I didn’t turn up in Black singlet (the fancy one with white trim) black stubbies and naturally black thongs. I had that outfit in a few colour combinations.
