Next round of cancellations

Every time a cruise disappears from the booking site someone posts all cruises are cancelled.

 

Here is one for nov 8th from one of the two ports still open.

When I try to book it is says no availability= did you have luck trying to book it?

Lol I didnt try. Cruises appear and disappear from the carnival site without rhyme or reason that I can figure out.

 

I'm only booked on one sept 2021. They actually raised prices, the buggers. Top of hurricane season and prices went up.

Just now November 2020 grayed out on booking on carnival site. .. so I assume november is cancelled.

I just wish they would all make up their minds and tell us. Its past time rcl said if they are cancelling November. People shouldn't have to guess.

I get that what I'm saying is have they said 40%, 50% or any definitive concrete number yet? Not that I've read anyway.

 

The final protocols haven't even been givin the stamp of approval ( at least not that I've seen). Sure Carnival has listed some ( not even close to the 74 NCL/RCI panel of experts have identified). Many don't believe the 4 weeks to get ship ready to sail is legitimate. 

 

When that hard date has been agreed upon by all parties, "everything"up to that point is speculation as to the when cruises will sail.

Absolutely. People have flights, hotels possibly...etc... I like to read people's opinions on here re restart but it would be really nice to get it from the actual cruiseline.

I agree. This White House/Cruise line meeting probably isn't going to happen until after the election at this point. Trump and Pence have bigger fish to fry in terms of Covid and the upcoming election.

So true. Flights are also limited even in NY at this point. If you are flying in from a place that doesn't offer a direct flight that's going to be even harder to book last minute.

Guess they really like hanging onto those final payments until the very end.  Shameful.  😠

Just found out that my Celebrity Millennium Feb 28, 2021 from Singapore to Hong Kong is cancelled.

Cancelling less than a month out has not been unusual for Asian sailings.

 

Biker, who expects even closer in cancellations not necessarily directly due to COVID issues, but things such as staffing, port issues etc.

Hawaii, Asia, Australia, South Pacific, Transpacífic, etc.  bookings removed from X site until September 2021.

 

All other cruise until December,  X is removing the cruises from the site before making it official
