Murano vs Tuscan for special occasion?

I know everyone's food preferences/ restaurant types vary. We are very open to any type of venue. I'm interested in everyone's opinion on which one they would prefer for a special occasion and why.

The view and atmosphere is great at Tuscan

Murano is our favorite and we have consistently had excellent food and service.  The view of the wake in Tuscan is nice but we have found the food and service to be very inconsistent.  We no longer book it due to too many substandard experiences.

Murano is our go to for a special occasion (S class).

We followed the excellent reviews for Murano & booked. Was a disappointing evening & not worth the money, in our opinion. 
Rushed, indifferent service, a course entirely missed and unspectacular food.

Murano.  Depending on dish, even Caesar Salad, made at table. Presentation excellent. Great atmosphere.

I go with Tuscan.  Meals have always been good to excellent there.   I have had issues with service in Murano, food is always good overall I will say.  Really depends, look at the menus more choices in Tuscan overall

Very fancy,  fine dining,  upscale, doting service, but a long meal..Murano!

 

Less fancy...good food and variety, Italian steakouse quality..shorter duration meal,  family oriented celebration or a nice dinner with wine....Tuscan!

The place doesn’t matter it is who you are with.

 

Pick the one that has the menu that appeals to you.   Want I like you may not.  

 

Last time In Murano was disappointing.   Service was poor but that depends on the server.  Cou;d happen anywhere.

Murano is only on S class surprised they didn’t add it to E class . Only specialty on all 3 classes is LePetit Chef which is my favorite.

We do both when available, but have never had a subpar meal at Tuscan Grille, usually it is excellent. I can’t say the same for Murano.

But why not do both so then you can see how Tuscan is as well

We make up a special occasion for an excuse to go as often as possible!

If you are a CC member you can call them to put in a request but it is easiest, and most reliable, to stop by Murano and talk to the Md when you get on the ship.

We like both- if a special occasion, I go with Murano- more elegant- food very good at both-  Found service better in Murano.  Try to do both!  Include Central Park also.

Another vote for Murano.  We think it is much nicer than Tuscan

Central Park is on RCCL Oasis class ships, not Celebrity.
