FYI, you should NEVER pull a string that is hanging out the other end... it can "slice" through the intestines and result in a perforated bowel, causing a fatal infection.

There was a lady at the Vet's office with her under the weather Doberman. I was still waiting to go in with my dog, when she came back out looking sort of distressed.

I asked if her dog was okay?

She said, "I'm so embarrassed. Apparently, she swallowed a pair of my panty hose, and he had to fish it out."

We've never had a corprophager, but our neighbor's black lab, just started doing it when the new puppy arrived.

Sounds like a computer generated voice. Is that right? Why not use your own voiceover?

That’s what I was thinking. It’s to robotic sounding.

Try redoing the video when you have time and repost it. I think people would be more inclined to come back for more. 🥂

There is a video out there on the interwebs of a large dog in a back room at the vet's office. They have induced vomiting and the dog hacks up a bright pink... uh.... rechargeable silicone toy for private adult fun time.

That lady had nothing to be embarrassed about compared to that dog's owner!!!

Late to the party once again but Happy Birthday Crystal. I totally missed it until I read subsequent posts.

No worries... I think that @aussielozzie18 is following Crystal on other channels, and the b'day was mentioned there. I'm taking notes of every birthday "alluded" here, as I'm sure you remember 😉

So.... @singinalot

Happy Birthday, Crystal, hope you'll have a lovely celebration, and an interesting and rewarding job in the very near future

Someone posted here recently how much they enjoy the Tour De France.  DH wanted to watch it tonight from 8.30pm.  DS said sorry but I need to watch the last two episodes of Stranger Things 4.  Thinking they went for an hour each, DH said fine.  2nd last episode went for 1 2/2hrs.  Final episode went for over 2hrs….

Finally sat down to watch the Tour and ads for Holland American come on.  They must be sponsoring this years coverage.  They are running a competition for a 7 night cruise in the Mediterranean in a Veranda cabin for 2.  Flights included. Long shot but

have  entered and fingers crossed.  Drawn EOM.

@Sea Dog  when you cruised from San Juan last year, did you spend any time there pre or post cruise?  If so, where did you stay and would you recommend it?  We are starting to look at details for our Voyager repositioning cruise later this year (Boston to San Juan).  On my list of hotels are the Decanter Hotel, Hotel CasaBlanca and El Convento, all in Old San Juan.

We've stayed at the Sheraton OSJ, the AC Hotel by Marriott in Condado, and La Concha Renaissance in Condado.  I'd stay at any of the 3 again.  Of those 3, the Sheraton is best if you want a great OSJ location.  La Concha is the best if you want a more upscale place with a great beach and pool complex.  We had a high room facing the ocean...great views.  The AC Hotel was best for a reasonably priced place for a night before a cruise.  The AC Hotel has a rooftop pool/bar and also has beach/pool privileges at the Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino about a block away.  Although the Sheraton was a perfectly fine hotel, we'll probably choose one of the other popular hotels in OSJ on our next trip, just to try something different.  Lots of people seem to like the Hotel El Convento.

Watched the third episode of The Old Man last night.  We're really enjoying it.  The actors that are playing the younger versions of the Jeff Bridges and John Lithgow characters were well chosen.  I can easily see them being younger versions.  I only wish they dropped more than one episode a week.  I like the ability to binge watch a few shows.

@Sea DogI can match your shoe lace/poop story.  I found last night that someone had caught, eaten and then partially regurgitated a mouse…inside the house!!! 😳🙀

Here is another.

When I was 12 months pregnant (at least it seemed like forever), I already started my pre maternity leave.  And being a good wifey with the burst of energy I decided to make a 5 course meal.

So I open the pantry door to go in, and a mouse walks out.

Now our pretty kitty then 'Anny" was just 18 months old, and when I screamed the DH thought something was wrong with me, he ran to the kitchen just as the mouse leaves.

He picks up Anny and goes "some cat you are, your not even a mouser"

Dinner did turn out great, and it was another sleepless night for me and I left the bedroom and came back downstairs and sat at the island.

All of a sudden, Anny comes up from the cellar with a mouse in her mouth as she is howling so loud I do not know what scared me more the mouse or the howl.  She drops the trophy at my feet, I scream.

The DH comes flying downstairs, and I just look at him and go................she's a mouser.

Anny lived to be 21- 1/ 2 years young till we said our farewells.

Take care

Watching Bravo reruns of BD Thailand. From commercials it looks like BD Med will be on Mondays and BD Down Under will be on Tuesdays starting July 11.

I don't have Cable, and do not have Bravo, but I now have Peacock, which does have Below Deck.  I have been binge-watching BD and am in the middle of Season 3.😁   What Season is BD up to these days?

Today was our hottest day here and it was muggy but about an hour a storm rolled in, the temperature dropped and no longer muggy.   We even put long sleeve shirts on.

The wind is up and the lake is getting choppy.

I tied to post this a couple hours ago then then rain rolled in and we took off.  Get a block or two from the lake and poor cell internet.   Almost like cruising internet.

I love watching waves crash as much as I love calm water.

We are expecting thunderstorms today then it should be in the 80s with humidity gone.

Are you at the lake for 4th of July celebrations?

I'm not sure of the numbers. Each (BD, BD Med, BD Sailing Yacht) has its own numbering system.

@bobmaclibertyI had stayed at La Concha with a co-worker of mine when I was 18.  It was my first time on an airplane.  Anyway, I loved La Concha so much, that Jim and I spent a week at La Concha on our Honeymoon, before flying to St. Thomas, where we stayed at the Pineapple Beach Hotel, which I believe, is no longer there.  We stayed in a beach house.

While on a Tour in Puerto Rico in April, I mentioned La Concha to the driver, and he said that we had already passed the hotel.  I sure would've liked to have seen what it looks like, 51 years after my stay there.

Thanks, OB.  With the way I've been watching BD, I just may catch up to everyone.  The Season I'm watching right now, has Captain Glenn, Daisy, Gary, Colin, Ashley (I sure don't care for her at all) and Scarlet had just joined the crew.

Therefore, when looking at expenses, we have chosen the Best Western Plus Condado Palm Inn in the Condado area, which is cheaper than OSJ.... We had a bus to OSJ at the corner for 0.75 cents pp, and it was nice traveling with locals.

Many restaurants in the area, and very pleasant to stroll in the evening. We were there 4 nights.

For one night, of course, splurge to be in OSJ 🙂

Thank you Dani.  Not sure yet if we’ll stay one night or two post cruise before flying home.

I really like the vibe of Il Convento. I haven't personally stayed there but have been to the courtyard at the hotel. For some reason the place has really grabbed my attention and it is a nice lication. I'd like to stay there sometime.

We’ve also done a walk thru there and agree it has a great vibe.  I’m a sucker for a courtyard.

We stayed at the Casa Blanca Hotel and absolutely loved it. It’s quaint, charming and has a lot of character. It’s in old San Juan which is a great area to stay since you can walk to most places.

there is so much to do and see. The two forts were so interesting to see. Make sure you eat at Raices and Barrachina for authentic Puerto Rican food and Barrachina is the home of the original Pina colada.

You can also go to beaches or get a day pass at a nice beach resort. We had so much fun.

Here is the link to my review from last November that features some pictures from our stay in San Juan.

Thanks Greg. CasaBlanca looks great. I’ll say I’ve narrowed it to that one and El Convento if we decide on Old San Juan.  We’ve been there I think 4 times on port stops, have walked OSJ and visited the forts so maybe we’ll stay outside the old city a bit just to experience something different. We can always take a bus or taxi into OSJ.

We have stayed at the Sheraton Old San Juan, right by the day port, where the Royal hips  dock for the day, not departure port as well as the Marriott Stella's in Condado.  The Sheraton was great for exploring Old San Juan with great views from the roof top pool.  The Marriott was a great beach hotel with lots of restaurants close by, but a taxi was needed to get to Old San Juan.  Lots of great options but you need to figure out what you are looking to do while there.

Thank you! (see above)

We just left and headed to Cincinnati to watch a ballgame.  We have been at Lakeside on the 4th and it is fun.  They have a parade and kids decorate bikes to ride in it.  They later have a great fireworks display at the end of the pier.  The downside is it's very crowded. We could see a big difference yesterday and this morning.

I have always enjoyed the waves crashing.   After a big storm the wave flow over the pier.  It gets bad enough they close the pier.  When I was young a friend and I went out on the pier after a storm.  They were not allowing swimming.  We each had a plastic gallon milk jug with us to help us float. We jumped in on the wavy side.  A big wave carried me half way back on the pier.  When the wave went back out I was hanging onto the side with one arm and leg.  There was now a large drop to the water.  It seemed like it took forever for the next wave to push me the rest  of the way onto the pier!  Great memories.

I'll be able to. I'm going on the same cruise again in February with my co-host (shhhhh....she's getting the cruise for Christmas!). There were some things on the ship I wanted to feature but didn't get a chance to experience.

I'm already planning my shots and everything for my Oasis cruise in October. I've been watching all kinds of videos on the weekends to get some information on her, such as layout, attractions, her stats and operations, etc. for some added content.

Oh and BTW, my co-host/niece knows about the Oasis cruise: she was supposed to come on my Enchantment cruise this week, but we all had to cancel due to a positive COVID test within the party (not me). Knowing this might happen (the person was symptomatic and did 2 at home tests before the mandatory pre-cruise testing), we told her about a contingency plan: the Oasis cruise.

So now, we're running around doing all the paperwork for everyone again in order to travel (most of our packing errands are done now) since we're about 3 months (give or take) out until the Oasis cruise. I'm also on isolation protocols due to being a close contact and have to isolate until Monday.

@Sea Dogas for you, I'm not quite sure whether to thank you, or not, for introducing me to Kraken.😉😄

BD in Thailand has some amazing scenery. There was a lot of drama with that crew. Rhylie can't just take an order and shutup. Laura can't just do her job either/

Had Kraken last night in Coco Logo. I am happy that I could turn you on to that great rum.

Since you stated that you wanted to start your own You Tube channel for cruising I just wanted to give you some advice coming from a person who has done video production for the last 40 years. Robotic voices are a turn off to viewers. You will get more views if you use your own voice and make it conversational. People want to hear your take on things. Robots are not personal, you can be personal. If you say you don't have the time how do you expect anyone else to take the time to watch your video? I'm not trying to be mean. I'm just trying to help you produce the best video you can for your audience.

Totally agree. If I start to watch a video with a computer generated voice I stop watching.

Ashley was a mess. I can understand why she ditched the reunion show even though she signed a contract to appear. She knew she was going to get a lot of grief.
