True, that it is. I try to tell people that it's not a Zombie show where its all blood and guts and nothing else.  It's a human interest show that just happens to be set in a post-apocalyptic  zombie world. It has a great cast, lots of character development where sometime the good guy is not always so good and sometimes the bad guy has good reasons for being the way he is.  It basically shows how different groups of people interact with each other  and what they are willing to do to survive and build the world back. At some point, the zombie stuff just fades to the back ground & you'll just accept there will be a few bloody killings each episode. But it's usually done to enhance a story line, not to BE the story line.

Excellent review of the show.As the Phillies will be eliminated tomorrow night they will have plenty of time to get caught up on Walking Dead.

I forgot about shorthand.  I took that course in High School.   I used for one secretarial job I had while attending college in mid 80s.    I'll have to see if I remember shorthand.

Even though I had a job that lasted 25 years I have had 16 full time jobs .All were different.

Speak ING of typing, has anyone tried the techy of drawing lines between letters to top type? I just did.  I had to delete severable words.  I left a few to show an example of what it looks like when done. It actually looks better than I thought it would.  Plus to can click on words it guess. I think if I used it more it would be quicker.

I'm not seeing anything different?? Except for capitalization of ING.

Have you been to Batavia, we sometimes spend a night or two there on our trips , close to my wife’s family, they have a casino and racetrack (casino is slots only) but there is a Thurman Thomas bar , also they recently opened a small hotel in casino. My wife’s best friend and husband will escape the cold of Buffalo to spend New Year’s Eve with us in Buffalo, he has bills season ticket .

I've driven through Batavia more times than I can count, cutting the corner from I-90 to I-390, but never stopped there.  We lived in Williamsville, which was only about 30 miles from Batavia.

Drove by there many times, when our son was in grad school at University of Rochester.   Haven’t been up that way much lately, although we have gone up for the lilac festival a few times since then.

Okay, I am blaming all you who have had appliance issues.  Our dryer has decided to start thumping, sounds like a shoe is spinning around! Waiting for guy to call, he said he would call in 20 minutes, so we shall see🥴

Our refrigerator repair person is coming November 17.It is still covered under the Warranty and we have a second refrigerator in our garage so that is not a problem for us.

Every November we have our heating unit checked out for the winter.

Two months ago we made an appointment for Nov.5 expecting temperatures today to be in the 40’s or lower.It is 63 here now and the technician is supposed to arrive between 12 and 5 PM.

See, this is why I said I only say nice things about my refrigerator just in case it is listening. 😄 Hope they can fix it. 🙂

Speak ING = Speaking

techy = technic

severable = several

to = you

Plus a lot of deletes. But it got easier as I was went further. Also when I noticed I had the suggestion words to use.

I think it is hard to see spelling errors if they are close to what you were saying. It's like those sentences that leave out letters but you can still read them.

My Wife is the same, I  have yet to sit in an aisle seat when 3 person in a row.

Only time I get an aisle seat is when we travel on Southwest and the plane is full.

Okay now when traveling on a Southwest flight what do you do so no one sits in the row with you. What tactic works best?

Reading a book? and never looking up at the people walking in looking for seats?

Box of tissues in the empty middle seat with used tissues all around seems to work best. 🤣😲

Fly first class!

I was stuck in the middle seat on a flight to FLL and Never again will I do that.   The lady that was next me in the Aisle seat was so annoying the whole ride.    Kept moving around, talking to herself, babbling away.    On our flight home we decided to both sit in aisle seats to avoid one of us being stuck in the middle.

We appreciate any post you can do. Enjoy yourself first. We will be here for you.

@BonnieNYTX, @akcruz & @helen haywood, thanks for your kind words.

Like all of you, I also had trouble signing in….

Besides, I’m reeling from the change of “climate” in Israel. A minority which doesn’t work, doesn’t serve (either in the army, police, health services), refuses to learn even math and English, will have the upper hand in our lives. Will send my boys to war, while their kids are safe….

I’m very sad, along with half the population, that our only country is lost.

Most times flying from Philadelphia we always flew on Southwest, No first class on their planes.

My Wife has to have an Window seat and is not a fan of sitting next to a stranger. Case in point, I get the middle seat. 😬

first class on AA is decent and usually reasonably price (at least in the past it was).

But the time we would add in 2 or 3 suitcases into an AA flight for a 2 and half hour flight down to Florida just didn't seem to make any sense($$) for the extra cost since Southwest has free bags.

WE also do that, aisle seats across from each other if we can.  And , if it is not too expensive, which I have seen lately, we fly 1st class.

Our preferred airline is Delta, who has the most flights out of PBI,  which adds flexibility flying to places we are most likely to go.

Hopefully it is something as simple as replacing the belt

Plus free drinks 😁😁, love getting a nice double before the plane takes off, 2 pieces of luggage each up to 50lbs , never exceeded that but came close.

Isn’t AA eliminating first class?  Soon only Biz will be available.  We mostly fly coach because I am cheap, and my wife even cheaper.  🤣
