Although the booing might have been directed at the Rangers who looked in charge for the first half of the game but threw away a 2-0 lead and lost 3-2 in OT to the Detroit Dead Things.😠

It's almost midnight,  Nov 6th in NY and it's still almost 70 f degrees & so humid that it feels down right tropical.  

 

Kind of regret taking out the window air-conditioners but no regrets turning off the heat. I have to check last year's bill but home heating oil is going for $5.40 a gallon!! I feel like that's double what I was paying last year.

From 8pm onwards, I would open the door to the room every 15mins and get a sad shake of heads. At 7.50pm, DH came out and said it’s not happening.  At 7.55pm, I heard a shriek.  Yes, her Sydney BF had finally secured 3 tickets, 5 mins before the event sold out.

Congrats to your daughter and friend. It certainly is a big thing here. My nephew has been a few times and my eldest son a few years ago. Apparently the website crashed which was frustrating

Had a great black tie event on Friday. Nice to dress up for once. The band was excellent so had an enjoyable bop

Surprise is not what I was feeling.  I think Josh said it best in his post game press conference opening statement..."It's tough to win in this league when you're playing a good team and your quarterback plays like s**t".  Sums it up for me.  He'll bounce back though...hopefully without any arm injuries.

Clarksons Farm is exactly what I expected when he was getting into farming. Very funny indeed. 

 

As for the straight lines here, they have become laser straight now thanks to auto-steer.

Sorry Bob. I watched the game and Josh seemed off. Have they said anything about his arm? I saw him holding it. Chiefs really sucked it up too. I can't believe they won. Mahomes pretty much had to do it himself since the O line played horrible. Kicker needs to be let go. He can kick it far bit he's not accurate.

Crazy TX weather.  Low 70s today and tomorrow.  80 on Wed., then the "deep freeze" starts on Fri for a few days with temps running a high of 50s, low 30s.

 

We're a one car family and Jack has the car for a few hours running errands, appointments, etc.  Good time to straighten this house up or....sit on the recliner, feet up as I'm doing now tooling around online.

I don't drink much alcohol, Jack almost none, but his Kraken sure has me wondering.

 

This laptop keyboard is very sensitive.  It knocks me off and just a few seconds ago all of a sudden, a recipe website for chicken soup popped up which I would never use since I make the best chicken soup in existence.
