Everyone here helped me calm my experience while taking care of my mom as she died.  I appreciate everyone for that

Let me add my condolences on the passing of your mom.  You were an exceptional son taking care of her.

Inspired by the Jewelry Tree @Sea Dog shared, I decided to make one using my mother's jewelry.  Here's the finished project.  I'm not sure I will want to take it down when Christmas is over.

Oh my, that's gorgeous and should not be displayed only Christmas time.  It should be displayed year-round.

And Lenny, what a great picture. Glad you gave Marietta permission to post it.  I just can't wrap around my head that you once had almost waist length hair.  An original hippie!

My husband’s identical twin grew a beard a few years ago. I told Brian, now that I know what you’d look like with a beard, you never need to grow one. I like him clean cut, without a beard hiding his good looks. 😁

That's how I like Jack too but unfortunately, he grew a short beard a few years ago.

My mother in law hated my beard. She offered me $300 to shave it and not grow it back but since my wife liked the beard I was not going to shave.

My father never liked the idea of me having a beard. When he was in the hospital and presumably knew he would never come home he stopped shaving and told me he wished he would have grown a beard when he was young.

Ok, here is Lenny with his grand dog.  He gave me permission to post!4E6C8FB3-ADD4-427B-AAAD-271531C31382.thumb.jpeg.7ddc4b96894b0f402220e46246c575e1.jpeg

You do look younger than your approximate age. Very nice, wrinkle free skin, and handsome. I like your flooring. Flooring is our next project. ☺️

Our long lost, motorcycle loving friend, Rory or Tory?

From what I read on Bella thread,  he can read but not post.  So hopefully he can read this but if not, please pass along my thank you and sincere appreciation.  It means a lot.  For real.

Rory  He can read the threads here on the main board but can't read the ones in the Floataway  lounge

Good morning.

It is a sunny but cold -5°C here in North East England.

I wish everyone a lovely weekend.

I hope our dear friend Crystal @singinalotis well as I haven't seen her post recently.

Graham.

Graham, I follow her on Instagram and she is currently in Vegas.  From the photos she appears to be taking in some Rodeo as well as some traditional Vegas fun.

Yesterday was supposed to be a day we were going to load both cars once more. It rained all day.  No garage here.  I used to say “In my next life I’ll have a garage.”  Who knew I didn’t have to wait that long?!  The new house has a “three car garage.”  I was excited about that until we actually saw it.  Hmm.  Actually more like a two golf cart garage.  We’re going to try using tennis balls on strings and maybe some tape on the floor to eke out a template to get both Tahoes in it…

So yesterday wound up looking like this…

Wow what an honor and wonderful experience playing the role of Santa for my companies annual videotaping of Twas The Night Before Christmas read by our long time now retired anchor Larry Moore. We had over 40 children during the reading and then they were led to our garage area where I surprised them and gave out gift bags and they had cookies and hot chocolate. I'm proud that I was able to stay in character even though a lot of the staff knew who I was. I kept saying "Greg who?" I'm Santa. Here are some pics from last night's event.
