I am, once again, having trouble keeping track of who is on what ship, where they are going, and what dates the cruise runs from.😑

You can add in that I will be going to North Carolina next week for a fiber festival.  Good times!

I'll be heading to Atlantic City for a couple of days next week. Hard Rock Casino is comping me 2 free nights. Not sure why as I haven't been there in 3 years.

Then again,  that's probably exactly why! Fingers crossed for good luck. 🤑

How are the kitchen renovations coming along?

Rough Plumbing and Rough Electric is now done. Next up tomorrow they are running the gas(propane) line from the existing line that previous owner had for the 2 fireplaces to the new Gas(propane) range/oven.

After that patch up all the dry wall they cut out for various reasons to get to electric and plumbing and the new fixture locations in the ceiling.

They still have to put the backer board on the floor.

Then they will paint both rooms(1 large open room now), then cabinets will go in.

After painting I believe the 2 wood  beams will go up that are spaced on each side of the 2 pendant lights that are over the 10' x 6' island.

After all that the brick/ tile work will begin. Tile back splash, brick pavers on fireplace and walls above upper cabinets. Brick pavers on the floor also.

All the pavers are only a 1/2" thick, not like outside pavers.

Leave the ship in one piece for me, I'll be on her next week!

Hopefully it will be in better shape next week. Lots of water issues this week. All cabins had no water for a short time Tuesday due to a burst pipe as we were arriving in Port Canaveral. Some public restrooms have been out of order for days. We have had three different days that toilets on our deck weren’t working. One day it was for over two hours.

Not sure what that says about me and a lot of other people. I didn't have any reaction or pain in my arm for all 4 shots. This year I didn't have pain in my arm at all from the flu shot which I usually do. Was surprised by this as it usually hurts afterwards.

Someone has to pay for the upgrades and it won't be Royal in the end.

I am completely guessing, but I am betting that Starlink is cheaper than the previous system to RCI, hence why they chose it.

It is all things weaving, spinning (yarn), yarn and patterns.  It is in 2 big buildings for the vendors.  There are classes also.  There will be llamas and probably an angora rabbit or two.  We are going a day early to check out yarn and antique stores.  There are 6 of us, we have a nice house rented and will take turns cooking dinner for the house.  I am bringing pumpkin lasagna and snickerdoodles.  After dinner we spend the evening knitting, showing off what we bought and talking about all manner of things.

There is a bit of the story that’s not correct, but I thought you might enjoy some of the pictures.

I am sooo sore.  Just planted 178 cloves of garlic.   I am so thankful Sharon came out to help and sunset was later than I thought it would be.

That's a lot of garlic!!   Do you do something to preserve it once harvested?

It stays good in the cool basement on a rack pretty good.  I harvest mid June and they last into the spring of the next year.   Around January I toss some into the refrigerator.  I also use a lot for pizza sauce and freeze it.  The last two days I made enough for 18 pizzas.   I like to roast them too.  😋 Family and friends ❤️ them too

I only have about 30 bulbs left from this year but I didn't plant as many.  A little over 100.

Okay, I am sufficiently depressed this morning.  I forgot to change my calendar to remove our cancelled trips.  It just reminded me we were supposed to be traveling today, for a Sunday cruise out of Boston. ☹️

I need to get my fix from the new LIVE reports.

Bad news, I had a miserable night with fever, chills, annoying cough and congestion.

Just tested and I am positive for Covid.

I have avoided it for 2.5 yrs guess I was due to get it.

I'm staying in spare bedroom to avoid Eric.   So far he feels fine.

Sorry to hear that.

Drink plenty of water and rest.
