I have trouble with chairs and couches that are too deep, also.  I need  couch pillow behind me when I sit down on the couch...if I don't have a pillow behind me, I'll sit with both of my legs tucked under me.

Me too!  It's tough buying a sofa when one person is 11 inches taller than the other.

Great news that Susan had a good report at her appt. yesterday.  How is your DD doing? 🙏

I was happy to hear that you don't have TB;  I've been meaning to ask if you're still wearing the ( heart?) monitor?  I hope all is well for both you and your DD.🙏

DD is progressing.  She just started five weeks of radiation.  It was delayed a little, because she got the flu.  She did start back to work yesterday, doing half days for a while.  Taking it a day at a time.

As for me, I finished with the heart monitor last Friday. Don’t know what it shows, but will find out when I meet with the cardiologist.  Appointment was supposed to be tomorrow, but they pushed it back a couple weeks.

With all the imaging that the “providers” have done, they did find a couple things.  One, a spot on my lung that I have discussed with my primary doctor.  It is at a watch and wait stage with another scan in 3-6 months to see if it grows.

The second thing is I have a thoracic aortic aneurysm, that will be discussed further with the cardiologist.  It appears it is near the size where surgery would be required, but it may just be monitored for a while also.

It is probably good it is caught early.  I had no symptoms, other than an elevated heart rate one day last fall, that Apple Watch said was aFib.  That’s what prompted me to get checked.

Thanks for asking.

Wow, Mark.  I am sorry to hear how full your plate is.  Thank God you sought out your doctor after getting the notification from your Apple Watch, especially since you had no symptoms.  Amazing.  I hope you don't have to wait too long to see your Cardiologist.  With regard to the spot on your lung, I understand about the watch and wait with the scans to see if it grows.  Jim has had a spot on his lungs since he volunteered at 911 in NYC.  He has been monitored for years now, and every December he goes for scans.  Sometimes a Cat Scan;   if there's any change, he is then sent for a Pet Scan.

Jim was sent to a Cardiologist several years ago after his VA doctor found an aortic stenosis.

Please know that you, as well as your family, are in my thoughts and prayers.  Thank you for sharing this with all of us on here.🙏

Tonight is Survivor. This show is not watched in my Granddogs house.I told him that we are watching it either at 8:00 or on DVR.

He is a very smart dog.I read the names of the remaining people and asked who will win Survivor 44.He barked when I said one name.

I waited a few minutes asked him again and he barked at the same name,

That name is Yam Yam.If that is who wins the season remember.that my granddog predicted it.

I used to have drip irrigation setup, but after a few years of me rotating my cops in different boxes, I found it to be too much hassle.  I still use automation to keep my one box from freezing that I setup as a makeshift greenhouse when it is still early in the season.

The last box in the back, with the hoops, that is the one that I use as a greenhouse until risk of frost is gone.  I hang incandescent lights (Christmas lights) to keep from freezing and control with wifi plug.  I had looked at using IFTTT to turn lights on if temps dipped and I was not home, but then figured out, I could just use my phone and turn them on 😉

Very nice set-up.    I love the built in work table.    When we built our raised beds I didn't have enough space to put a work table, really wish I did after seeing your lay out.   Nice!

Thanks for the update, Mark. For the aneurysm pls. receive at least another opinion.

And I like Ricky's colors 💕

I am already working on that. Since the cardiologist said they may just have the surgeon get onboard now and follow progress, I reached out to Cleveland Clinic. They are to have me forward all the scans so they can review and refer to the right specialist.

Cleveland Clinic is rated top in the country for this, and it is less than a 2 hour drive.

Thanks Mark for the update. You and your DD are still in my thoughts. Keep us updated and I will be thinking of positive energy.
