Wrong !! Budweiser is real beer, I have tried Bud Lite, don't like that. It is popular in USA and they sell it on Princess ships. Like any light beer thin and not much flavour, light on alcohol and calories.

Don't get too excited Phillip, it is only 'being looked at' according to the Minister - Dan Tehan.  Like all these scheduled cruises being sold currently, it does not mean they will be sailing. Call me Uncle Doom and Gloom.

Nothing about the crazy requirement regarding Australian staff that was made by the Australian Border Force.

"The government is insisting cruise ship operators wanting to sail Australian waters must employ Australians to take on hospitality and other non-specialised jobs, despite a shortage of such staff across the country." Cruise Passenger.

I have not seen any reporting that the Australian Border Force have been convinced to change their policy. Have you?

Where are they going to get local crew , hotels and restaurants are screaming for staff.

Apparently some hotels are offering free breakfast if you clean your own room.

The boffins sitting in their gilded cages in Canberra making these hair-brained policies, are not living in the real world.🤬

Don't get excited about Pacific Explorer going to Manila.  Think it might have been Alfie (I could be wrong) who told us at the end of his previous video that they would be going there to drop off and pick up replacement crew.

He has got a new video out this morning from Manila and he does not sound very happy.  Rather deflated I thought.  He was meant to finish his stint mid May and it now looks like it will be July before he can get off.

I will believe something is happening with P&O Au when Golden goes into dry dock to have her makeover and not before.

I’m not sure we can trust a publication that cant spell June correctly...

It's quite common for month names to be abbreviated to three characters, but it does seem a bit silly for June.

Budweiser is a beer Mic, big in USA. I have the odd one as their is a rice component, not much gluten.  Bud has been on the market since the late 1800's, known as 'The King of Beers.'  A slightly sweetish brew with not much head, but I don't mind it, but then I am restricted gluten wise, it has been rated as low gluten in USA.

4.5% abv. On the ships they sell it in the red metal bottles, here in glass.

It may look like a beer and is advertised as a beer but it is not anything but diluted deer urine.

If you won the beer, you will not need to travel to the Land of Tipping. They now make Budweiser 'King of Beers' (USA) in Melbourne, so straight up ye olde Hume Hwy with a few cartons of 'Bud' for ye Mic.

The relationship between Bud and Beer is purely fictional.

Just watched Alfie, he appears fed up, not been on land for 3 months, he is awaiting a relief officer, so he can go on leave.

I watched him this morning and agree, seems really fed up. He didn't sound like his normal upbeat self.

Mic,

Not quite.  It's not deer urine.  I have it on authority that  it is Cat ****.  Gives it a stronger

flavor to compensate for the additional water and lack of aging.

Maybe you use deer in Oz but up here they use cats to accommodate American tastes.

It gives it a nice golden color and it also provides a good foamy head.
