I hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

In So. California, it is currently 68F with a 70% humidity at 11:30 pm.  Stay well.

Good morning from Myrtle Beach.  I had a lot of pages to catch up on, just from yesterday.

Flight was only slightly delayed.  The grandkids liked their view

@Sunshine3601 how are you liking the Amish Paste.  I decided to grow them again this year to make pizza sauce.  I made some and the sauce is thick. Great taste.

It has been very hot with very little rain.  I have a squirrel that has been climbing the fence this week.  It has eaten ten tomatoes already.

I love the Amish Paste.  I made sauce this weekend.   I only had about a dozen of them so far so I mixed in 2 cans of crushed tomatoes for my sauce this weekend, very tasty.   I am getting a lot of super sweet cherry tomatoes and been eating them like candy.

Yesterday I gave out cucumbers, zucchini and super sweets to 2 of my neighbors.

Peppers have been slow but should have a bunch to pick soon.

Sorry squirrels are eating your tomatoes.  Maybe put a thin net over?  Hopefully they aren't running around neighborhood inviting other squirrels to come picnic😁

$2.75.

They also have weekly and monthly unlimited ride tickets available but much like Royal Drink Package,  you need to do the math to see if it's worth it. Typically at least 2 or 3 times in and out of the subway every day during the time period to breakeven.

Try Repels-All, if you don't mind spraying your plants. Makes the plant smell undesirable to various rodents & other vegetable stealing animals.  I've watched squirrels, chipmunks & groundhogs walk right on by some tasty looking vegetable plants.

They say it's safe for humans & biodegradable.  After the initial application, there is a strong garlicky smell for awhile.

Good morning.

So earlier today as I was sleeping at the Hilton, DH  had already left for conference  I put security bar on door when he left. I was awoken to our room door opening and slamming into that security bar.

Here it was maid. I go we have late check out.
She goes sourieeeee. Get my drift.

Did kinda want to sleep off those Long Island ice teas.  Yup. Sales rep treated our group to dinner at this Brazilian restaurant. And all I remember is him saying for 8 of us the bar tab was higher than food bill.  Must have been a good night !

Home later today.

Be safe.

So after our beach time…..

it was back to that lazy river to chase the boys around it again.   I found it can be dangerous, because I cut a big gash in the bottom of my foot.  Good thing I travel with a full medical kit.  Cleaned, antiseptic and dressing applied.

Now I am headed out to search the billboards for which attorney can get me the most. 🤣🤣

Me too! Love a good lazy river!  Should you ever go to Las Vegas, MGM Grand has one of the best and longest. At least they used to. Vegas changes so much, it's hard to keep up with it.

It gets crowded so best to float with a tube or noodles. 🙂

I have a NYC Senior Transit pass with my picture on it .If I used it ,it would be half fare.I got it at age 65 but I have yet to use it because I have not been on a bus or train. The picture of me is when my hair was still brown.Every 3 years they send me a new card. One time I did not get a card and I called NYC transit and the person who answered the phone told me that according to their computer it was not used and they assumed I was no longer on the planet .I assured the person that I was and I got a card. The current card expires 7/31 .I have not gotten a new one yet. When I got the very first card I put $35.00 on it and I assume it will never be used.

I wonder if it is like a product to keep bees away that people hang on their decks.I tried it one summer and it did just the opposite.

Thanks for the idea.  We tried spraying what we had, deer repellent spray,  and it didn't do anything.   I was not comfortable spraying it on the veggies so We sprayed all around them.  It stinks.

When I saw that you mentioned it had a strong garlicky smell I looked up using garlic to repel squirrels.  They recommend spreading garlic powder and/or a way to make a garlic spray.   I will feel comfortable using my own spray and spraying the veggies with it.  My only concern, if my garden has a strong garlic smell how do I keep the neighbors away.  😆

Now all I have to do is figure out where to get some garlic 🤔

Yikes! I'm glad you were able to treat it. Are you going to complain to management? That should not have happened to you.
