Sadly, we're very very divided, with the "12 tribes" fighting each other 😢

The shouting made the neighboring folks shout back even louder.  Insults were flying. As you know, Sat. night everyone is usually out on their balconies. Hence the police.  I loved it!

Post vaccination celebration was at Lucille's BBQ.  Highly recommended!

I am now bullet proof, can leap tall buildings and can play the Cello.  Thank God for Pfizer. 🙂

Isn't it a relief to be double vaxxed?  Don't worry if your arm aches for a day or two.  It's to be expected.  Your bbq looks delicious. Fries look fabulous. Not greasy at all.

May I say.. blechh?  Sorry.  My fave is Dr. Brown's Cherry or Cream soda.  I'm sure it's blechh worthy to someone else.

I never drank Cherry soda . Cream is also a favorite. On the Coney Island boardwalk and W. 15 St .was Sodamat where there were more flavors of soda that anyone could imagine.

I like IHOP as well.  At least for breakfast.  I've got a friend who insists we  eat at Waffle House every time we travel together.

I do like Waffle House. You know what you're getting. They all look the same...even the people.

Not exactly a house, but maybe a mobile house.  I know some on here have camping vehicles.

This is one I saw on our walk around the campground this morning.

$175K for this model.  For that kind of money, I would expect a heck of a lot more room than you can fit in this one.  I read that Mercedes partnered with Airstream to do a high end one of this size for $245K.

My wife just said “You know how many nice hotel stays we could have for that price?”

I am 1-2 years from buying an Airstream trailer, but the Mercedes Airstreams are getting horrible reviews.  Way too small for me.

My godson bought 4 or 5 of the Mercedes a couple of years ago and rents them out , he is a very successful young man , one of my poker buddies bought a 40 ft boat in a lake in Austin, he wanted to buy another so he could sail Caribbean so he just bought a 60 ft boat , it has 3 bedrooms and two baths , I’ll take that over any land thing, unfortunately it’s out of our price range by a lot.

My DW thinks that land travel is way safer than ocean travel for old people doing their own thing.  My plan was to be buying a nice French Catamaran and sailing to the Caribbean and maybe beyond.  She thought I was nuts, so she wanted me to buy a class A RV and I thought she was nuts.... so a 23 foot Airstream is our compromise.

"And the Sea Will Tell" by Vincent Bugliosi, kind of turned me off of the idea of small boat sailing by ourselves. :classic_biggrin: Really good true crime book, but spooky. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_the_Sea_Will_Tell

Probably weird people on land too, but hopefully you will be primarily in campgrounds or with others around. :classic_biggrin:

Our first stop at a Waffle House was well over 10 years ago on one of our trips south.  If was 4am and I needed a coffee.  When I stopped my daughter woke up and she woke her brother up snd the next thing you know we are all sitting down having breakfast at 4am.  It has become part of our routine fir our drive down.....except now we wait until around 7 or 8 am, which is just as we are entering Georgia.

Beautiful just what I needed to see. I’m feeling like crud. Aching all over and a low grade fever 🥵 I’m hoping tomorrow is better.

A co worker of mine had a hard time with her first shot of Moderna and another with her first shot of Pfizer. The rest did well. I’ll be curious to see how all of our second shots go in July.

The mud, don’t try, dust debris on the road would be enough to bother me. I bet it gets you and Nate too.

Great photographs - the drone is doing a super job. On the plus side, you will have lots of new neighbors soon and the neighborhood will be alive. Where are you building?

Curious, how would you know?

Heard the same thing from the nurse that gave us our Moderna shots.  She said side effects are good because they mean that the vaccine is working.  No idea if it's true.

@Tree_skier sorry to hear that. I know you had mentioned having a lot to get done. I hope you get to feeling better quickly!

@grapau27 thank you! construction was something we didn’t think would bother us but turns out it does

I can't remember your timing Crystal.  When are you supposed to make the move to Florida?

They’re our regular “road trip” restaurant traveling back & forth to FL.  There’s one at almost every highway stop in North & South Carolina.  It’s certainly not fancy, bury you know what you’re getting.  For us it’s usually breakfast for dinner.

Ours too. Just stopped there Saturday night for dinner on our way south.
