Craziest thing You've ever seen happen on a Cruiseship?

A few years ago I was sitting on my balcony and we were docked in Key West. It was getting amusing watching various folks walking back  to the ship. I remember quite clearly a group who had been drinking (some were having issues walking back......one young lady, well, I could see someone had to pick her up so they could get through security......). I kept thinking to myself......It just does not look like it is fun to be so drunk you cannot walk......

Not the craziest I have seen (that was the chicken) but close was a cruise we did and nearly every night in the MDR, a few people from differing areas in the MDR would just suddenly start singing a song. Of course we have had the waiters all sing their happy Birsary songs for passengers birthdays or anniversaries.

They sometimes sang as a duet, sometimes one would sing one song and then the other would sing theirs. It was very entertaining but strange as we had never had that happen before.

A mini-flash mob?

What's the craziest thing You've ever seen happen on a cruise in the past? Be it fight or a drunk Man or someone being kicked off the ship. I wanna hear the stories.

In 2010 a woman who was probably in her 80’s was punched in the face by a guy behind her because she was not moving fast enough for him.

I saw a guy on a Holland American Norwegian Fjords cruise try to get into the dining room wearing pajamas, bedroom slippers and a robe on formal night.  It looked like he had not showered or gotten out of that outfit in some time.  They did not seat him.

I would suggest that you do a search on this topic.  We get the same post on this subject about once every few weeks.

DON

I just wish the search worked better. I have read the FAQ info and other help, but it still can be very frustrating.

Any search function works better when subject titles and or content is clear and concise. That will never happen here.

Don't forget the typos!  That really throws the search off!

Police Officers, doubt they would have had horses and such still.

Well, they don't all have horses, even though they're still call "mounties".  The horses are usually only used for ceremonial events.

We saw RCMP cars on the road during our road trip last summer throughout  British Columbia, Yukon, and Alberta.

Didn't see an elderly woman get punched, but did see one get knocked down by a family trying to be the first ones on a tour bus.

I don't know what some people are thinking these days.   Incredible.
